Today the BBC Radio 1 awards took place and three of our favorite stars were there; Tom Felton, Matthew Lewis and Rupert Grint! As I posted last week, Tom and Matt presented the award for Best British Young Sports Star to Tom Daley!
Also, Rupert won the award for Best British Actor! Of the win he said, “I’m just the ginger one in the background, this shouldn’t be happening!” Hopefully videos of the actors will make their way online and I will post them here.
A photo of the three stars with Tom Daley may be seen below thanks to Tom Daley’s Twitter:

Harry Potter stars Rupert Grint, David Tennant (Barty Crouch Jr) and Jim Broadbent (Slughorn) will be voicing characters in the new Postman Pat movie. Postman Pat, which was a stop animation series for young children, is being remade as a 3D animated film, “Postman Pat: The Movie,” and the will be released in 2013. It is not known what parts the actors will be voicing but some sources believe Rupert will be Pat’s son Julian.
The film sees Postman Pat enter a national TV talent show – which threatens to tear him away from Greendale and the friends he loves. The show forces Pat to come face-to-face with the temptations of money, status and even a shiny new suit.
Grint, whose role was not revealed, but could be Pat’s son Julian, added: “I used to watch Postman Pat when I was a small boy. My brother and sisters all did at some stage. Postman Pat is one of those British symbols, I suppose. You are totally familiar with him and his cat Jess, even if you have never watched the series. How exciting to be part of the Postman Pat heritage.”
