Video: Trailer for ‘Brooklyn’ Starring Domhnall Gleeson, Jim Broadbent and Julie Walters

The first trailer for Brooklyn, a film about a young Irishwoman coming to New York, has been released. The film stars Harry Potter alumni Domhnall Gleeson, Jim Broadbent and Julie Walters. The film will be released on November 6, 2015.

BROOKLYN tells the profoundly moving story of Eilis Lacey (Saoirse Ronan), a young Irish immigrant navigating her way through 1950s Brooklyn. Lured by the promise of America, Eilis departs Ireland and the comfort of her mother’s home for the shores of New York City. The initial shackles of homesickness quickly diminish as a fresh romance sweeps Eilis into the intoxicating charm of love. But soon, her new vivacity is disrupted by her past, and Eilis must choose between two countries and the lives that exist within.

Dohmnall plays an Irisman, Jim Farrell while Jim Broadbent plays Father Flood and Julie Walters portrays Mrs. Kehoe.

Video: Jim Broadbent in ‘Get Santa’ Clip & Trailer

A clip from the upcoming British film Get Santa featuring Jim Broadbent has been released.  The film, which will be released on December 5th in the UK, also stars Potter alum Warwick Davis (and Timothy Spall’s son, Rafe.) The film is about a father and son who team up to save Christmas once they discover Santa Claus sleeping in their garage after crashing his sleigh and finding himself on the run from the police.

It’s days before Christmas and reindeer are found running loose through the streets of London. Meanwhile an astonished 9 year-old Tom (newcomer Kit Connor) discovers Santa (Jim Broadbent) in the garden shed.

He has crash landed while test driving his new sleigh and enlists Tom and his father Steve (Rafe Spall) to help him get back to Lapland. But what happens when Santa is arrested and thrown into prison? Will Steve and Tom be able to break him out in time for Christmas?.

Get Santa is a heart-warming and funny family adventure about a father and son reconnecting to discover the magic of Christmas.

Michael Gambon and Imelda Staunton Cast In Paddington

Potter alums Michael Gambon and Imelda Staunton are the latest actors added to the Paddington cast. They will be playing Paddington Bear’s Uncle Pastuzo and Aunt Lucy. The film, produced by Potter’s David Heyman, also stars their Harry Potter colleagues Jim Broadbent and Julie Walters. After some recent casting changes, Colin Firth has been replaced by Ben Whishaw as the voice of Paddington.

The film will be released on November 28, 2014 and the world premiere will be held at Odeon Leicester Square on November 23.

‘Postman Pat: The Movie’ To Be Released in USA

Postman Pat: The Movie, which features the voice talents of Rupert Grint, Jim Broadbent and David Tennant, has been acquired by Shout! Factory and will be released in New York and Los Angeles on June 27th. A trailer for the film may be seen below:

A new trailer for Paddington, which features Harry Potter actors Julie Walters and Jim Broadbent has been released today. The film will be released on November 28, 2014 and was produced by David Heyman.

Paddington has journeyed from Darkest Peru, wearing a duffle coat, hat and Wellington boots, carrying a suitcase containing an empty jar of marmalade and wearing a label around his neck that reads “Please look after this bear, thank you.” His arrival in the household of the Brown family leads to comic mishaps and misadventures for the well-meaning but accident-prone young bear.

Video: New ‘Postman Pat’ Trailer Featuring Rupert Grint, Jim Broadbent & David Tennant

The second theatrical trailer for ‘Postman Pat: The Movie’ has been released by Lionsgate Films this morning. Rupert Grint, Jim Broadbent and David Tennant all voice characters in this animated film, due to be released in the UK on May 23rd. Rupert voices the character of Josh, Jim works at the Post Office and David plays Postman Pat’s nemesis who tries to stop Pat from becoming famous.

The film finds Pat, everyone’s favourite postman, coming face-to-face with the temptations of money, status and a shiny new suit when he enters a national TV talent show competition that threatens to tear him away from his hometown of Greendale and his family and friends. What happens when kindness meets selfishness? When local fame meets Global notoriety? Will a nice cup of tea be kicked aside by a Frappacapacino Pat is set to find out as he falls for the age-old temptation of the grass being greener…
