Emma Watson to Star in The Perks Of Being A Wallflower
Posted by Megs

Coming Soon is reporting that Emma Watson will be starring in The Perks Of Being A Wallflower with Logan Lerman.

The project is being produced by Lianne Halfon and Russell Smith via their Mr. Mudd productions banner. Mr. Mudd’s John Malkovich will executive produce. Production of the film is slated to commence this summer.

Erik Feig, Summit’s President of Production, stated, “Every so often you read a book that reminds you what life was really like at a particular age in all its wonderful and terrible details or if you’re lucky enough to read it at the right time in your life, it can change the course you’re on and make you think things are actually going to be ok. ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’ is that book and we are thrilled for the opportunity to turn it into that kind of movie as well. We know we are off to the right start with Stephen directing, with Emma and Logan starring, and with our talented producer team.”

According to one of Forbe’s latest lists, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint are the highest grossing on screen couple!  Also on the list are Viggo Mortensen and Liv Tyler (Lord of the Rings), Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley (Pirates of the Caribbean) and more!

We all knew it was coming to this. After watching them grow from 10-year-old tykes to brave teens, romance has finally, truly bloomed in the Harry Potter movies. No Hermione and Ron haven’t kissed yet, but Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows made it clear that the pair has deep feelings for each other and a kiss can’t be far behind.Which is why Rupert Grint and Emma Watson top our list of Hollywood’s Top Grossing On-Screen Couples. The Harry Potter movies, in which the pair star as Ron and Hermione, have earned a whopping $6.3 billion so far. And with a final film slated for next summer (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2) the franchise is on track to top $7 billion.
