On the off chance that any of you still need convincing this movie is worth your time and money, we asked top Harry Potter fansite Magical Menagerie for their help putting together this list. Consider it more a Top 5 Reasons.
Part 2 will do justice to the final book — The way the movies have been made, with such care for the novels, is not something you often see. And that’s really saying something, given that Jo Rowling‘s magical books got so many kids (and adults) reading when they previously didn’t find a point to it.
Who doesn’t want to see Neville become a badass? — Not even Seamus Finnigan, whose magical ineptness manages to blow up in his face in every movie, comes across as more bumbling than Neville Longbottom. Given Neville’s sad family history, his transformation at the end of the series stands as epic underdog makes good.
Alan Rickman’s talent is magic in its own right — It’s hard to image anyone else bringing the infinitely complex character of Snape to the big screen with such charm and humor. No wonder the beloved antihero claimed victory in the 7.4 million votes cast in MTV’s “Harry Potter” World Cup. With Kleenex in hand, we’re looking forward to Rickman’s swan song performance as Snape.
Ron and Hermione finally seal their relationship with a kiss — The bickering, the knock-down-drag-out arguments, the unfortunate-for-all Lavender Brown chapter… It’s been like watching Friends‘ Ross and Rachel from childhood. This is one looonnng overdue lip-lock.
Revenge, especially at the hands of Mrs. Weasley, is sweet — Everyone knows not to mess with a cub in front of its mother — not that common sense ever played a role in Bellatrix’s behavior. But even the most out-of-control mamma grizzlies and lions have nothin’ on an ferocity of a the wand- and profanity-wielding Molly.

I can now post my review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II which I saw in 3D on July 7th! I will post a short snippet below and the rest may be read at this page.
On July 7th I had the opportunity to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 in London. Before I go into the regular review I would like to say: I think the movie was totally amazing, I cried for at least half of the movie (I hardly ever cry so that is a big deal). It also may have surpassed the Lord of the Rings: Return of the King as my favorite movie of all time…
