Den of Geek have posted a new article where they interviewed Tom Felton, Julie Walters, Warwick Davis, The Phelps’, Bonnie Wright and Natalia Tena at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London at Leavesden Studios. They all talk about the upcoming attraction and their favorite parts.
Can you tell us which props won’t be on display on the tour because they’re on your mantle pieces?
Julie Walters: Nothing.
Oliver Phelps: They’re all there.
James Phelps: Everyone wanted a wand, and we were hoping on the last day they’d see “You take that with you”.
OP: We were dropping hints…
JP: But when all the bigwigs from Warner Bros were over we kind of “It’d be nice to have our wands wouldn’t it?” and they were like, “Yeah, it would be good wouldn’t it” but that was it.
JW: That was the end of it.
It’s an outrage. So, which is the prop or set that impressed you the most? Is it the wands?
JW: The Weasley set of course. I wanted to live in it, it was like a home. It didn’t feel like a set, it was gorgeous, you couldn’t be on there long enough, the detail was enormous.
Bonnie Wright: One thing I wonder if they’ll ever show, was in Stuart Craig’s office above his desk he had this great drawing, just plain paper and felt tip pen, the first time that Jo and he met to sit down and discuss, she just did a really simple, simple map, like Hagrid’s house, Hogwarts, lake, Quidditch Pitch. It was literally just her drawing of where she knew in her mind where it was all going to be. It was above his desk throughout the whole film.
Today we have two new videos from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II DVD. The first is a video on Aberforth Dumbledore, played by Ciaran Hinds. Daniel Radcliffe, David Yates, and Ciaran Hinds all discuss Aberforth’s role in the final film.
Next up is another video fans unlocked with Harry Potter: The Quest where Mark Williams, Julie Walters, James and Oliver Phelps, Rupert Grint, and Bonnie Wright discuss The Weasley family in the Potter films.
Voting has begun for Portrait Magazine‘s Top 30 Under 30 poll and the Harry Potter Cst is on the list! Currently they have 2% of the votes and are in 12th place. Let’s get them to number one because the person or group with the most votes will appear on the December cover! I’m not sure who they are counting as the “Harry Potter Cast” but I assume it would at least be Dan, Emma, Rupert and Tom. I’ve asked for confirmation on who would be included, so if I get that information I’ll update the post. UPDATE: Okay, the list includes: Daniel, Emma, Rupert, Tom, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch, the Phelps Brothers, and Bonnie Wright. There could also be others such as Katie Leung and Alfie Enoch but that will be decided at the end of voting.
The entire Top 30 will be featured in the issue. Voting lasts through November 23, and you can vote as often as you like. The FAQs for the voting may be read here.
Rupert Grint, Bonnie Wright, the Phelps twins, Tom Felton, Warwick Davis and other Harry Potter stars were on the Matt Edmondson Show on BBC Radio 1 tonight. It was a miniature comedy show called “The One With a Hogwarts Job Centre” where Matt, the host, suggests jobs for the actors. You can listen to the here with that segment beginning at 23:06 .
Glamour has posted a new interview with Bonnie Wright where she quickly talks about her life after Harry Potter and the projects she’s worked on.
So now that Harry Potter’s over, is her acting career slowing down? In short, no. Bonnie told us: “I just shot a film a month ago that should be coming out next summer, The Philosophers, it’s an American independent film. And then I’m directing a film and also acting in another one in January. It’s a period piece set in the 1800s so that will be fun. That one’s called Want Of A Wife, it’s a British film.”
Working a new grunge-glam style in patent Chelsea boots and a black Fedora hat, we also quizzed Bonnie about her front row style secrets. She told us that she heads to fashion week for “the performance of it”, and that her front row fashion essential is “a smile.”
Also, there is a new video interview with Bonnie from the Sass & Bide Spring 2012 show. Thanks to SS for finding this.
The HauteMuse YouTube has been updated with a new behind the scenes video on Bonnie Wright’s cover story. You can see scans of her feature in the magazine at So Bonnie. View the video below:
