Thanks to SnitchSeeker we have a lot of fun photos and information from the Harry Potter: The Exhibit press event that was held today. Head over to the Lewis Lovers gallery to see photos of Matthew at the event! Matt said the following at the event:
I was stunned. I’d heard about the exhibit in Chicago, but I had no idea about the size and scale. It was incredible and it was really wind-y and mazelike. You turn a corner and don’t know what to expect. It took me back to Leavesden when I was 11 and you’d walk into the Great Hall or Chamber of Secrets – it reminded me of that. When the door first opens and the Hogwarts Express is there – the kids’ll love it! What I hope is that they get to experience a little bit of what we do there (on set).
He also talked a bit about Deathly Hallows:
I got the script – fourth draft – of Part Two and I’ve no idea how we’re gonna do it. The scale of it is enormous. We’ve got some pretty incredible scenes to shoot.
I start next week. Neville is a bloody and battered resistance leader – a battle hardened veteran. A bit gung ho.
Also according to this article:
“I’ve definitely grown up with Neville, grown in confidence and maturity as the character has,” he said.
Lewis was 11 years old when he started playing Neville in the first Potter film. He’s now 20, and about to begin filming the final chapter in the series. When asked if he will miss playing Neville he said, “Absolutely, Neville’s been a huge part of my life. And not just the character, all the people, the studio, the cast and crew, that sort of safety net of Harry Potter really. It’s been a magical world I’ve been a part of.”

Rupert Grint’s movies are on a roll! ICM has just announced that his other new film, Wild Target, has gotten International Distribution!
Protagonist Pictures has taken international rights to Rupert Grint’s film Wild Target! Not only that but we have learned a few other things. The movie will be shown at the American Film Market (as you recall, Cherrybomb will also be shown there) but also has distribution deals in France, Portugal, The Middle East, and CIS & Baltic. Again Entertainment Film Distributors will handle the UK release while Cinetic will be handling North American rights! You can read about everything here.
For those of you that forgot what the movie is about here is a description:
Wild Target stars Bill Nighy, Emily Blunt, Rupert Grint and Rupert Everett. The screenplay has been adapted by Lucinda Coxon, based on Pierre Salvadori’s French hit Cible Émouvante. It is produced by Martin Pope and Michael Rose of Magic Light Pictures.
Blunt plays Rose, a beautiful, quick-witted con-artist, who makes money selling fake paintings. When she scams an art loving gangster (Rupert Everett), he sets Europe’s most efficient and expensive assassin (Nighy) on her tail.

Cherrybomb is scheduled to be screened at the American Film Market which will take place from November 4th-11th in Santa Monica, CA. Thanks to ICM for emailing us!
The Little Film Company informed us that this screening will be open to the fans or anybody interested in seeing the film! We are already spreading the word around […]. All they [fans] need to do is send us their name and email address at staff@rupert-grint.us. We are putting together a list right now.
Later they posted this on the site to clear up some confusion: “YES the screening is open to anybody to attend, but it’s not like you can walk up to the booth and order a ticket yourself. You will have to email us to be placed on the list to attend because this is for marketing purposes like the London screening was.”

In a new interview with Bill Nighy, Rufus Scrimgeour, he discussed the security measures to protect the movie script and more.
“They kill you, if you leave your script lying around or leave it on the bus, you’re dead,” he said, laughing. “You have to sign a confidentiality (agreement) and stuff like that which is perfectly understandable. So if I tell you any more, they’ll come round my house.”
“It was very sweet, very nice to work with him, and with Emma and Rupert, and with David Yates as this is my fourth time working with him,” he added at the Los Angeles premiere of his latest film, Astro Boy. “It’s great. I thought I was going to be the only British actor of a certain age not to be in Harry Potter and it turned out not to be true so it’s kind of cool.”
