MTV Networks’ Logo channel has announced the nominees for their ‘NewNowNext Awards’ which air June 17th. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is nominated in the Best New Feature category.
the most unique awards show on TV, NNNA is about discovering today what will be trending next year. While other awards honor those who have already made it, NNNA sets its sights on brink of fame up-and-comers who are just beginning to be buzzed about.

Matthew Lewis has been confirmed for a new movie role, his first one outside of Harry Potter! It is called The Sweet Shop and filming for the movie will begin in May. Matt will be playing “The Reporter” who is described as “a clever, devious music journalist, who dogs the footsteps of Jarvis Marshall (Seb Hurtado) in the hunt for the big scoop.”
We don’t have many details about the film as of yet, but as more details are released I will be posting.
The nominees for the 2010 National Movie Awards have been revealed and Harry Potter has been nominated in a few categories. Half-Blood Prince is up in the “Family” category against movies such as Up and Nanny McPhee 2. Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe are all up for “Performance of the Year” against the likes of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Emma Thompson, Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and more!
Vote for your favorites here, voting closing on the April 30th. The awards ceremony will take place in London’s Royal Festival Hall on May 26th and will air on ITV1.
