As part of the American Library Association’s READ campaign Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint are featured on three posters to promote reading.  The posters will go on sale on October 18th, here, for $40.  ALA Graphics is also having a Harry Potter trivia contest on Facebook, where you can win a set of the posters.

In celebration of the Harry Potter phenomenon readers Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson join the READ campaign.

For more than a decade, J.K. Rowling has captivated imaginations and inspired a generation of new readers with the Harry Potter series. Soon after learning at the age of eleven that he is a wizard, Harry Potter attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Here, he meets his best friends, Ron and Hermione, Headmaster Albus Dumbledore, and a cast of eclectic teachers. On November 19th, the final installment in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, comes to the screen in the first of two parts. As the three friends race to find the Horcruxes that are the secret to Lord Voldemort’s power and immortality, the Dark Lord’s Death Eaters wreak havoc on the wizarding world. As the war wages, Harry Potter draws closer to the task for which he has been preparing since he became “the boy who lived”: the ultimate battle with Voldemort.

Today we have 3 awesome new posters for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! They feature Harry, Ron and Hermione with the words “Nowhere is Safe”  You may see them all in the gallery.

WB will be releasing these posters in High Resolution tomorrow! I’ll post them as soon as I receive them (might have to wait until after work if I can’t steal a few minutes to do it)

There With Care, a non-profit organization, is hosting a couple pre-release screenings of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. The screenings cost $40 with the ticket price including general admission to a 2D screening, popcorn, soda & an introduction by Devon Murray (Seamus Finnegan).

• November 17th at 4:30pm at Century Cinema, 29th Street, Boulder
• November 18th at 4:30pm at United Artist Theatre Colorado Centre, Denver

The same organization is also holding “Wizard’s Holiday Parties” in Denver (20th) and Boulder (21st) at 6pm.  Tickets information for these events is as follows:

• Party and Screening Ticket – $150 includes a general admission to a 2D screening, popcorn, soda and attendance to a party with Devon Murray and Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy).
• Wizard Package – $250 includes VIP Admission to a 2D screening and  the party, reserved theatre seating, popcorn, soda, gift bag and entry to an exclusive Pre-Party Champagne Reception with Tom and Devon.
