Representatives for the Westin New York at Times Square hotel have emailed this afternoon with some great news for Harry Potter fans that want to have the best experience possible while visiting Harry Potter: The Exhibition at Discovery Times Square.  According to the press release:

NEW YORK – March 24, 2011 – The Westin New York and Discovery Times Square are teaming up to bring guests unique and affordable VIP packages for two exciting upcoming exhibits: Harry Potter: The Exhibition and Pompeii: The Exhibit.  In addition to front-of-the-line access, VIP status means that timed entrances and black-out dates won’t apply, even when the exhibits are sold out.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition is making one final stop in North America, and this offer will allow visitors to step inside the wizard’s magical world from the Harry Potter film series.  Authentic artifacts from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™-Part 1 and the highly anticipated finale, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™-Part 2, along with over 200 original props and costumes from all previous Harry Potter films, are displayed all in elaborate settings such as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft dormitories, Hagrid’s hut, and the Great Hall.

Rupert Grint confirmed to Star in Comrade

As we reported earlier in the month, Rupert Grint was in talks for a film entitled Comrade. Now, thanks to ICM, we can confirm that he will indeed be in the film.  He will be playing the part of Private Robin Southey Smith, who as described as “a young, redheaded rebellion.” Filming starts this coming Monday, March 28, 2011.

A description of the film is as follows:

Comrade is an anti-war movie. High above the harsh Norwegian wilderness, English and German pilots shoot each other to the ground after a violent chance encounter. Isolated, they must fight to survive the brutal winter. Though war has made them enemies, antagonism is hard to maintain as days go by. Through mutual need, unlikely friendships bloom. Somehow, they become comrades. War, after all, is absurd.
