Tom Felton Attends NY Comic Con
Posted by Megs

Thanks to SnitchSeeker we have some coverage news on Tom Feltons’ appearance at this years Big Apple Comic Con.  For the full coverage, including audio and more photos, head to SnitchSeeker, I have posted the some information below. BEWARE: The last bullet point is a Deathly Hallows Part II spoiler!

  • Tom revealed that the Deathly Hallows Part II USA premiere will take place in New York City (but there is no date yet)
  • At one point during one of the first two Harry Potter films, Tom was rather frustrated to the point of actual tears over learning a particular line (though did not say which), but director Chris Columbus had told him the scene went fine. However, the scene in question was never released, either in the final film or deleted scenes. Tom joked that to be a good actor, you just get your lines right, or your scene will be cut.
  • Half-Blood Prince, as Tom has noted many times, was his favourite to film, and in the series. He said it was the only one of the films where he performed from the beginning to end of production, and was especially pleased to get personal screentime with Alan Rickman as Snape, whom he said that, despite the ‘sexy voice’, was daunting.
  • Tom said that at one point, where the good guys and bad guys are lined up against each other outside Hogwarts, Voldemort asks those who want to survive to take allegiance with him. Draco, who initially stood on the side of good, is called over by his parents to join Voldemort’s side, and he hesitantly complies.

David Heyman Mentions Deathly Hallows Part II
Posted by Megs

The Sun Times has posted a summer movie preview and have released a quote by producer David Heyman, where he says what fans can expect from the final installment.

“We saved the best for last,” promises producer David Heyman. “All I can say is it has been a helluva ride and it’s sad that it’s almost over, but it’s also amazing that we had this fun.” The last ride also promises humor when Harry says, “We need a plan,” and Hermoine replies, “When have any of our plans actually worked?”

Emma Wason Talks Deathly Hallows Part 2
Posted by Megs

In a quick new interview with Newsweek, Emma Watson talks about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II.

This is the best, because it’s the finale. We’ve put our heart and soul, blood and guts—and tears!—into it. The special effects are mind-blowing. I don’t know what happened: are we using a different team, or do we have more money? You see a different side of Hermione. She’s more like Lara Croft. The pace is absolutely relentless. It’s like a two-hour roller-coaster ride.

We have a dragon.
