This coming Friday, Universal will be releasing new details on the Diagon Alley expansion set to open some time this Summer.  They have posted a teaser that you can watch below!

The video’s description states: Waiting to hear more about The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Diagon Alley? On Friday, March 14, 2014, Universal Orlando Resort will reveal NEW details about the Hogwarts Express experience that guests will enjoy.

A Kickstarter page has been created for a project Rupert Grint is attached to, entitled Enemy of Man. It is a retelling of Shakespeare’s Macbeth and in order to be produced they need to raise $250,000. The film also stars Sean Bean(of Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones fame) and Charles Dance (also from Game of Thrones.) The stars of the film came together to create an 8 minute proof of concept short film to help raise money to fully produce the film. The Kickstarter page states:

Our cast and crew that made this proof of concept a reality, helped bring it to life out of their love and dedication for the project and were not offered any financial incentive. They believed in the idea and the potential of what the project had to offer and we hope you do too.

There are various rewards given for each donation amount. Starting at $10 you get to see the 8 minute short, and if you go as high as $10,000 you will be a co-producer. Additionally, everyone pledging $15 or more will receive a digital copy of the film when (and if) it is released.

A description of the film is as follows

Enemy of Man is an ambitious feature length retelling of William Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy, Macbeth.

This will be the feature directorial debut of actor Vincent Regan. Vincent is no stranger to Shakespeare. Although known for such films as The Messenger, 300, and Troy, he is a veteran of the Royal Shakespeare and National theaters and has directed and acted in Macbeth on the London stage.

The Enemy of Man will have a unique cinematic quality, stripping back the dialogue and cranking up the action. It traverses a bleak, frozen landscape of shattered castles and pillaged towns, rendering the interior world that clouds Macbeth and Lady Macbeth’s addled minds, as they sink deeper into their heart of darkness. A timeless masterpiece of war, ambition, betrayal, murder and ultimately, revenge.

Christian Coulson, best known to Potter fans for his role as Tom Riddle in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, will be participating in this month’s installment of The Meeting. It is a monthly comedy/variety show that honors a different celebrity for their contributions to gay culture. This month the show will honor the cult-favorite TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, on March 16 at Joe’s Pub. Tickets may be purchased here.

What is a typical show like?

If it’s a musical person, we try to pick from the cannon, [doing the songs] in a really interesting way. We did Cher months ago and Cole Escola got up and sang ”Gypsys, Tramps & Thieves” as a ballad, and it was amazing! For David Bowie, Joseph Keckler brought in a violin and a sound machine and made a really intimate song out a beautiful Bowie song. As far as the rest of the show, because it is topical, we have a little license [to] do skits about other things as well. We always try to keep it light and funny, but we’re never making fun of the people we honor. We’re really trying to be reverent because it means something to people.

How do you decide who to honor at The Meeting*?

At the core of the show, there’s this real sense of community. So it’s fun to pick something that’s cross-generational and all over the map so that we can get as many people excited about it as possible. The other thing to say is it’s never about imitation. It’s always about the interpretation of what they did. And that’s something that I think really sets the show apart.

Digital Spy reports that Mr Weasley actor Mark Williams will be the host of BBC One’s new game show, The Link, which has been scheduled to have 25 episodes. According to the article the show which pits three teams against each other and has them trying to find the link between questions.

The quicker the teams can work out the connection between answers to four questions, the more links they can break – giving them the chance to win some money.

In the final round, the winning team members will battle it out to break a series of Super Links to take home a cash prize.

BBC daytime controller Damian Kavanagh said: “The Link appealed to us because of its innovative question style and challenging gameplay. Mark Williams will give the show a different flavor which we hope will delight the audience.”

A new featurette for Emma Watson’s upcoming Bible epic, Noah has been released and may be watched below. The film, which also stars Russell Crowe and Logan Lerman, hits theatres March 28th. Also, the Hollywood Reporter has revealed all future advertisements for the film will have the following disclosure so as not to offend the very religious:

The film is inspired by the story of Noah. While artistic license has been taken, we believe that this film is true to the essence, values and integrity of a story that is a cornerstone of faith for millions of people worldwide. The biblical story of Noah can be found in the book of Genesis.”

The first teaser for one of David Heyman’s new ventures, Paddington, has been released via Yahoo! Movies. Harry Potter actors Julie Walters and Jim Broadbent will be in the film as Mrs. Bird and Mr. Gruber with Colin Firth voicing the famous Paddington bear.

David Heyman commented on the film in an interview: “Paddington Bear is a universally loved character, and I have wanted to bring him to screen for some years. Michael Bond’s ‘Paddington’ books have such wit, wonder and charm. Essentially, Paddington’s story is that of an immigrant arriving in London and trying to find a home and a family. Above all, I love Paddington’s unique style of comedy.”

A couple synopsis for the film may be read below:

Paddington has journeyed from Darkest Peru, wearing a duffle coat, hat and Wellington boots, carrying a suitcase containing an empty jar of marmalade and wearing a label around his neck that reads “Please look after this bear, thank you.” His arrival in the household of the Brown family leads to comic mishaps and misadventures for the well-meaning but accident-prone young bear.

The story follows a curious young Peruvian bear with a passion for all things British who travels to London in search of a home. Lost and alone at Paddington Station, he meets the kindly Brown family who offer him a temporary haven.
