Tom Felton to Star in ‘Labyrinth’
Posted by Megs

Tom Felton is confirmed to star in the upcoming miniseries ‘Labyrinth’. No, not like the one with David Bowie. It is a 4 hour long adaptation of Kate Mosse’s book Labyrinth, set in the Carcassonne/Aude Cathar region in the south of France. According to WorldScreen, Tom will play Raymond-Roger de Trencavel, the Viscount of Carcassonne, who died in 1209 trying to protect his Cathar citizens from genocide.

“Joining our already assembled brilliant cast, are the spectacular Tom Felton and Tony Curran,” said Tim Halkin, the managing director of Tandem Communications and an executive producer. “I’m particularly pleased to have found an extraordinarily talented young actor who is the same age as that of the historical figure of Viscount Trencavel. Trencavel was an amazing young man, wise beyond his years and I’m sure that Tom Felton will do his memory and his legacy justice.”

“Tony Curran and Tom Felton are some of the finest actors in the U.K. today,” added Liza Marshall, the head of Scott Free London and an executive producer. “They have broken out and made names for themselves internationally and we are proud to count them amongst our wonderful cast.”

Posted by Megs

[this post will be stuck to the top of the site until the chat is over]

Warner Bros have sent over our special embed code for the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London: The Making of Harry Potter fansite exclusive webchat that is taking place TOMORROW, October 13th, at 3pm (BST) on to celebrate tickets for the tour going on-sale. Remember, you can ask questions starting at 2pm on October 13th on Twitter. Make sure to follow @WB_StudioTour and include the #WBStudioTour hashtag in your tweets.. There is obviously no guarantee that all questions will be answered because the chat is only for 30 minutes. There will be a mixture of Fansite and Twitter questions. So you can also post your questions here and I can try to get them answered, but once again there is no guarantee!

Right now you will just see a holding message, but the video will change to the web chat tomorrow when it starts. [The video is a little cut off because of the way our site is laid out, so you can view it using this link if you’d like.]

Finally, there is a preview clip for the chat that you can watch below:

Posted by Megs

Today the BBC Radio 1 awards took place and three of our favorite stars were there; Tom Felton, Matthew Lewis and Rupert Grint!  As I posted last week, Tom and Matt presented the award for Best British Young Sports Star to Tom Daley!

Also, Rupert won the award for Best British Actor! Of the win he said, “I’m just the ginger one in the background, this shouldn’t be happening!” Hopefully videos of the actors will make their way online and I will post them here.

A photo of the three stars with Tom Daley may be seen below thanks to Tom Daley’s Twitter:
