Details on Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts

As promised, the Universal Orlando blog was updated this morning with new details on Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts! A description of the ride is as follows, there’s even a video preview (with Alan Gilmore, Thierry Coup, Mark Woodbury, Warwick Davis, and Rupert Grint discussing the ride:

And at the far end of Diagon Alley is Gringotts bank, with a larger-than-life dragon towering over it that breathes real fire. The bank is home to the signature attraction, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts.

In “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2,” there’s a pivotal scene where Harry, Ron and Hermione break into Gringotts bank to steal a powerful Horcrux that (spoiler alert!) will help them defeat Lord Voldemort. On Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, you’ll encounter the trio during this quest – but expect to meet some dangerous creatures and malicious villains as well!

Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts has everything you could possibly imagine and more – it’s a mind-blowing next generation thrill ride through the Gringotts vaults. It combines 4K high-definition ride animation and 3-D technology with live special effects to propel you into the action of the Harry Potter books and films.

Rupert Grint was a guest on BBC Radio1 Breakfast yesterday morning and today, thanks to RupertGrint.net we have the audio, which you can listen to below. In the interview he talks about fans, Postman Pat: The Movie and even premieres his song from the film, ‘Struck by Lightning.’ The film also stars Potter alum David Tennant and Jim Broadbent and will be released on May 23rd in the UK.

Final Hours to Fund ‘Enemy of Man’; New Video With Rupert

Enemy of Man has released a brand new video of Rupert talking about riding horses and wearing armor for filming.  There are only 49 hours left to fund the project and they are currently 75% funded. So, if you want to see Rupert in Macbeth, make sure to donate what you can on the film’s Kickstarter page! (Donations will only be taken if the project is funded, so no need to worry about that)

Also, if you want any of the cast to sign any of your physical rewards, just add $50 to your pledge. So you can have Rupert sign any of the physical items such as DVDs, Tshirts, etc.

Video: Rupert Grint Talks ‘Enemy of Man’; Still Time to Fund It!

The Enemy of Man Kickstarter page has released a new video where Rupert Grint talks about his character and what drew him to the role. Rupert will play Rosse in the film if it gets funded.  So, if you want to see Rupert in the film please donate on the Kickstarter page! They are only $76,861 away from their $250,000 goal!

Rosse is a Scottish noble and cousin to Macbeth. He is drawn into Macbeth’s web of lies and finds himself torn over his loyalties.

Video: New ‘Postman Pat’ Trailer Featuring Rupert Grint, Jim Broadbent & David Tennant

The second theatrical trailer for ‘Postman Pat: The Movie’ has been released by Lionsgate Films this morning. Rupert Grint, Jim Broadbent and David Tennant all voice characters in this animated film, due to be released in the UK on May 23rd. Rupert voices the character of Josh, Jim works at the Post Office and David plays Postman Pat’s nemesis who tries to stop Pat from becoming famous.

The film finds Pat, everyone’s favourite postman, coming face-to-face with the temptations of money, status and a shiny new suit when he enters a national TV talent show competition that threatens to tear him away from his hometown of Greendale and his family and friends. What happens when kindness meets selfishness? When local fame meets Global notoriety? Will a nice cup of tea be kicked aside by a Frappacapacino Pat is set to find out as he falls for the age-old temptation of the grass being greener…
