Last month I mentioned that Jamie Campbell Bower was rumoured to be playing Grindelwald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.  Jamie’s agent has reportedly confirmed that he will be playing the teenage version of Grindelwald in Deathly Hallows.

Thanks to Oclumencia we have a bunch of new behind the scenes photos from the Shell Cottage filming taking place this week.  In the photos we see Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Warwick Davis, Evanna Lynch, Toby Jones, Helena Bonham Carter and a bunch of crew members.

Today there are a few Deathly Hallows casting updates thanks to SS! They are the following:

According to his agency, Andrew Manson Personal Management, Ltd, Dave Legeno has been confirmed as returning to play Fenrir Greyback.

At the Tribeca Film Festival John Hurt spoke about returning to play Ollivander.

Also playing extras will be Pete Perry and Jeanie Gold.

Two Deathly Hallows casting updates for you all today!

First, thanks to my friend Maura over at JessieCave.com (which as you know I used to run), has found out through Jessie’s agency site that she will be returning for Deathly Hallows.

Second, thanks to Snitchseeker, we know that Andy Linden will be playing Mundungus Fletcher in the film.

A new article from the Daily Mail states that Jamie Campbell Bower is in final negotiations to portray Gellert Grindelwald in Deathly Hallows.  Remember that does not mean this is confirmed yet!  The article also says,

But Bower won’t shoot his scenes for some time because director David Yates is concentrating on filming as many scenes with Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint as possible before Ms Watson decamps for university in September.

The trio have done several action sequences, and Daniel and Emma have been working with a choreographer for some big wedding scenes that will be shot in the summer.

A few days ago I posted about Rhys Ifans confirming he has a role in Deathly Hallows.  He has now confirmed that he will be playing Luna’s father, Xenophilius Lovegood.

Q. Who do you play in Harry Potter? And is this something quite new for you, to be doing family orientated movies?
Rhys Ifans: I play a wizard. The last few Harry Potter films, I think they’re really cool. I was never a real fan of Harry Potter, but I love how they’ve become darker, and I love how Daniel Radcliffe and his co-stars have grown up through the telling of the story. Harry Potter is a little bit of history; it will be. So it’s been kind of a real honour being asked to be part of a project like that, and though I haven’t got kids myself, a lot of my friends have kids, so it’ll be great to do something they can see. He’s a good wizard – a really great guy. In Nanny McPhee, I’m a bad guy, someone you’d boo and hiss at.
