The 38th Annual Saturn Awards were held last night and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II walked away with the Best Fantasy Film award! The film and it’s actors were nominated, but didn’t win, in the following categories: Best Supporting Actor (Ralph Fiennes and Alan Rickman,) Best Supporting Actress (Emma Watson,) Best Direction (David Yates,) Best Production Design (Stuart Craig,) Best Editing (Mark Day,) Best Costume (Jany Temine,) Best Make-Up: (Nick Dudman, Amanda Knight) and Best Special Effects (Tim Burke, Gret Butler, John Richardson, David Vickery,)
Tom Felton’s film Rise of the Planet of the Apes was one of the top winners, it took away: Best Science Fiction Film, Best Supporting Actor (Andy Serkis,) and Best Special Effects.
The Harry Potter Wizards Collection website has released a new video in which cast members talk about Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe when they were working on the two first films. Richard Harris, Mark Williams and David Barron are interviewed in the one minute clip. It will part of the bonus features for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and is called Creating the World of Harry Potter ? Part 8: Growing Up.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II will be making it’s debut on HBO this coming Saturday, May 12th. Part I will be airing at 5:30pm ET and Part II will premiere at 8:00pm ET. Check your local listings to be sure of the time.
The film will be available on HBO GO for mobile devices starting on May 12th. It will not be available on Video on Demand until May 14th.
So far all the films up to Half-Blood Prince have aired on ABC Family, and Deathly Hallows: Part I will air in 2013, one assumes Part I will air in early 2013 and Part II will come later in the year (perhaps as part of the 25 Days of Christmas special, they usually do a Potter weekend at that time)
The nominations for the MTV Movie Awards have been announced and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II is up for SIX awards! The show will air live Sunday June 3 @ 9/8c on MTV! Fan voting opens in all categories Tuesday (tomorrow) at 8 a.m. The nominations are as follows:

The Jameson Empire Awards were presented tonight and Matthew Lewis, Bonnie Wright, Evanna Lynch, David Yates, Gary Oldman, Jamie Campbell Bower and Helena Bonham Carter were in attendance! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows won Best Film and “Best Film Presented by Sky Movies” with David Yates winning for Best Director. Gary Oldman also won Jameson Best Actor, and his film Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy won for Best Thriller Presented by Café de Paris.
