Scholastic revealed the new cover art for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince earlier today (July 18th) at the San Diego Comic Con. The new cover is part of a total revamp by artist Kazu Kibuishi, the new boxed set (and individual books) will be available on August 27th, 2013 in celebration of the 15th Anniversary since the initial publication of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. The final cover for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be revealed at Scholastic Headquarters on July 31st. The set may be pre-ordered on Amazon for $58.50 (the list price is $100.) Starting on July 9th, The Museum of Modern Arw will be holding an event called “A View from the Vaults: Warner Bros. Today.” In this series they will be celebrating Warner Bros studio by showing some of their most iconic films. According to the website, “This selection of Warner Bros. productions from the past 20 years, all drawn from MoMA’s collection, illustrates the studio’s continuing commitment to the artistic and commercial legacy of the four Warner brothers, some 90 years later.
The Harry Potter films will be shown from Saturday July 21st through Friday July 26th at the following times and locations:
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I will have it’s television debut on Sunday May 12th during ABC Family’s Red Carpet Weekend. The full lineup is as follows, other films will be airing before and after, such as Hocus Pocus, Hairspray and Twilight, we’ve only listed the Potter times below:

Yesterday Sky Movies along with WB Studio Tour held an event in The Great Hall to celebrate the fact that Sky will be the only channel broadcasting all eight Potter films this holiday season. This morning they have sent over some photos of Jessie Cave and Oliver Phelps at the event as well as a press release. Our correspondent Patrick was there as well, so I’m sure we’ll be getting a report and some photos from him as well, stay tuned!
Sky has also revealed that they will have a lot of behind the scenes footage as well as an interview with Daniel Radcliffe. All the details may be read in the press release below:
