Jessie Cave Talks Bookworm; New Video with Evanna Lynch
Posted by Megs

Jessie Cave talked with Digital Spy about her new show, Bookworm, as well as her upcoming film Great Expectations.  Bookworm will be at Underbelly Cowgate at the Edinburgh Fringe from August 4-26. Tickets are available now by clicking here.

What’s Bookworm all about?
“The idea is that it’s the launch of this book club that I’ve made and everyone in the audience are members. It’s the big day, it means everything to me. It’s about introducing the idea of Bookworms United to all these people.”

Do you feel prepared for a month-long onslaught at Edinburgh?
“I do feel prepared, I’ve planned this to the last minute detail since I decided I wanted to go up in September, and it means organizing everything. Everything on Pindippy is stuff I’ve done, and I do absolutely everything. That’s not going to change with Edinburgh.”

You worked with your sister on Great Expectations – was that something you were a bit hmmm… about?
“Bebe got the part because of me. Bebe comes everywhere with me. All of my sketches… she’s in Bookworm, she’s my sidekick. There’s a joke in my play about I bred her especially to be my bookworm and it’s true! I have three brothers and I said to my mom and dad, ‘You’re having another baby!’ I just prayed and prayed to have a sister and I did. She was the best gift ever.”

She has also released a new video in the series with Evanna Lynch where Jessie asks Evanna to join her book club.

She soon acts on her desires with acts of reckless behaviour that lead to betrayal and tragedy.

Gary Oldman will be Wiggy, “a taxidermist with anger issues and business on the side who partners with Fontaine on a number of crimes before things get heavy.”

Evanna Lynch Talks New Role and More With JustJared
Posted by Megs

JustJared.com has posted a new interview with actress Evanna Lynch who had her breakout role as Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter films. In the interview Evanna talks about an upcoming role as well as much more! Some snippets from the interview may be read below. She also did a photoshoot and behind the scenes video for the site which you can see here (scroll down).

“I have a guest appearance on a TV show that’s premiering this summer,” the 20-year-old Irish actress teased to us. “I’ll be in the finale episode and hopefully it’ll turn into a more regular role. I’m just really excited about that. It’s a great series and has an amazing cast.”

JJ: How did shooting TV compare to your film experiences?
EL: I was excited and nervous because it was the first thing I did since Harry Potter, so it was the first thing I kind of felt like, you know this is job. Harry Potter was my childhood and it felt very safe and this was something I was excited about. I wanted to work and meet new people.

JJ: You have a Michael Jackson tattoo…
EL: Yeah, I’ve had that for a while. I got that on my 18th birthday. I just always wanted a tattoo and it’s a place where I don’t see it so I don’t ever get tired of it. I think it’s fun because people don’t expect it of me.

JJ: I know you like Disney. Who is your favorite princess?
EL: I love Ariel. I got her autograph. (laughs)

JJ: That would be an awesome movie, right?
EL: Yeah, absolutely yes! I think they should do like a dark one, like how they’ve done Snow White. Maybe they could do the real fairytale. The real fairy tale is where she dies at the end and he doesn’t love her in return.I think there’s sort of a message in there like wasted opportunities. Like she always wants to be this something. It is sad, but I think it would be interesting.

JJ: Would you dye your hair red?
EL: Absolutely, yeah. I can’t swim, though, so that’s a problem.

JJ: Do you have any secret hobbies?
EL: I do a lot of yoga…I’m training to be a teacher. I enjoy it. It keeps me calm. I like art. I go to art galleries a lot.

Evanna Lynch Talks Potter with ETOnline
Posted by Megs

In a new interview with ETOnline, Evanna Lynch talks about leaving Potter behind memories from the set.

ETOnline: Did you take any souvenirs when filming ended?
Lynch: I didn’t! And it’s annoying because everyone else seems to have taken something [laughs]. I was being too good because they drilled it into us, “Don’t take anything!” I remember while we were filming the sixth film, I accidentally wore Luna’s shoes home and five different people called me, screaming, “Where are the shoes?!?” [laughs] They weren’t actually angry, more just freaking out that they’d lose their jobs. But I did collect things I was allowed to – I have all the callsheets from the films and I saved the sign from my dressing room door that says my name and Luna Lovegood. I took things that were important to me, but no authentic props.

ETOnline: Are you far enough away from the experience to realize what a massive contribution to pop culture those films made?
Lynch: Not really. I never think about that because even when we were on the sets, it never felt like work. Yes, it was a big budget movie and we’ll never get treated this well in your life [laughs] but it was such a family feeling. When I see the fan reaction, that’s when it hits me. I’ll always be proud to have been in Harry Potter.
