Radcliffe, better known as the star of the Harry Potter film franchise, generated a media frenzy this year after he appeared onstage nude in a West End revival of Equus. The next Potter film, The Order of the Phoenix, is slated to hit theaters in July. Since his first foray into wizardry back in 2001 at age 12, both Radcliffe and his paycheck have matured remarkably. The 17-year-old actress plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise. Following media reports that she would bow out from the series, she scored an estimated $4 million for the latest Potter flick, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I have known about these auctions for a week but I was waiting on confirmation before posting because those of us on the Sassy Forums had doubts about Emma’s item because of her letter. Thankfully Jo, on Emma’s official site, confirmed this for us!

In a new interview Ralph Fiennes annoucnes that he is NOT in the Half-Blood Prince film and has not yet signed on for Deathly Hallows.

Are you even in THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE? The one they’re shooting now, no, I’m not in it.

And have you signed on for the final film yet? I have not yet, no.

Has it been fun seeing yourself rendered serpentine for the two films your are in? Yeah, I particularly liked doing the first one. The second one, I think Voldemort is placed more as a sense in Harry’s head, whereas in the first one I did with Mike Newell directing, there was that fantastic scene of his rebirth in the graveyard, which I enjoyed doing. I’ve enjoyed making the movies, but I was never an avid reader of the books. It just wasn’t something I went towards. When I went to the premiere of the first one I did, I got a real sense of the extraordinary nature of it all.

An article in The Sun (warning: there is nudity contained in the link), claims that two streakers disrupted production of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on-location in England.

Two male streakers held up filming of the new Harry Potter movie � by darting naked through undergrowth during a woodland scene.
Stars Daniel Radcliffe and Helena Bonham Carter retreated to their caravans while security chased the pair off.
But once filming resumed on The Deathly Hallows, the duo crept back and made monkey noises at the location shoot in Farnham, Surrey.
A source said: “Seeing naked bodies was a laugh � but the joke wore thin.”

This is unverified by WB, but still very amusing I must say.
