The Liverpool Daily post is reporting that Emma Watson attended a fundraiser to benefit the Safe Place Appeal in Monte Carlo. The event raised £250,000 for the NSPCC’s Hargreaves Centre on Great Homer Street, Everton. The night included an auction and speech-giving.

Emma has updated her official site with a new diary entry saying she will be attending the Empire Awards.

Really looking forward to going to the Empire Awards on Suday, things will get really busy with exam preparations after the weekend, so this will be my last evening of freedom !!!! I think I’m also presenting an award which will be great! I really hope it will be a good night for Potter! Fingers crossed!

  I just had a mild heart attack everyone.   Koch Vision has acquired the rights to Ballet Shoes, so the movie will be released on DVD in the US sometime this autumn.
