“From our new studio set in Ireland, it has been a delight to watch this cast reunite and grow,” series creator Richard Warlow said. “As these new characters’ lives take shape on the page, it is a daily inspiration to know that they will be brought to life by the most magnificent troupe of actors Ripper Street has yet assembled.”
Series four will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Instant Video – with a broadcast date still TBC. The third series is currently airing on Friday nights at 9pm on BBC One. For fans who want to catch up on the series you can watch it via the links below:
Haunted by the failure to catch London’s most evil killer, Jack the Ripper, Inspector Edmund Reid now heads up the notorious H Division – the toughest police district in the East End. Charged with keeping order in the blood-stained streets of Whitechapel, Reid and his men find themselves fighting to uphold justice and the rule of law; but always in the background lurks the fear of the Ripper – is he back for another reign of terror? Rich episodic storylines meld with the intrigue of a criminal underworld festering on the hard streets of Victorian London, following the battle of the men whose job it is to bring the law to the lawless.
More casting news has been released today thanks to The Wrap (and SnitchSeeker for getting confirmation.) Jenn Murray has been cast as “a key role” in the film. In the article they mention Ezra Miller as being cast in the film. It should be noted that Ezra has denied that he is involved, but multiple sources have confirmed him in the film.
Katherine Waterston and Alison Sudol will co-star as sisters alongside Ezra Miller and Dan Fogler. Murray is expected to share scenes with Miller’s character, who’s a rival of sorts to Newt Scamander.
SEPTEMBER cover girl Emma Watson leads a discussion on gender equality in a new film by Vogue Video, directed by Kathryn Ferguson. As a UN ambassador, Watson is a vocal supporter of HeForShe, the UN solidarity movement for gender equality. Join her, alongside designers Stella McCartney, Jonathan Saunders, Erdem Moralioglu and Bella Freud, as they share their thoughts on equal rights for all.
Reports surfaced yesterday stating that Irish actor Colin Farrel has been cast in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them as Graves, a wizard that Newt Scamander meets while in New York City.
This news comes from The Hollywood Reporter, which has been a bit off in casting news in the past. The news was posted yesterday and hasn’t been denied by Warner Bros. or Colin as of yet, but do keep in mind that it could be a rumor.
The BBC has announced today that the role of Modesty in Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them has been given to 10-year-old Faith Wood-Blagrove. Warner Bros. held open auditions last month for the role where thousands of young hopefuls lined up for a chance at this amazing character! According to their article:
Film bosses were looking for an actress who could bring a ‘haunted‘ character with ‘inner strength and stillness‘ to life.
Filming for Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them begins this month.
