There is a new interview with Daniel Radcliffe!! The Sun is reporting that Empire magazine  has a new interview with Dan about Half-Blood Prince.

There was just one promise from Daniel the dark parts are so dark, they’re black.

But director DAVID YATES revealed: “We’re opening with a big attack. We’ll bring a major London landmark crashing down.”

Not sure I’m liking the sound of that big attack that obviously wasn’t in the books, but what can we do, ha ha.

Gary Oldman will be playing 3 characters an the upcoming recreation of A Christmas Carol.

I play [the ghost of] Marley, Bob Cratchit, and Tiny Tim,” Oldman told /Film at the Dark Knight junket. “I saw the designs, and the realizations of London and the characters. The design of it, and the look of it, is beautiful. It’s quite stunning. It should be quite magical.

Our friends at Olivers Wands have let me know that they have reduced the prices of their wonderful wands and they now come with a numbered parchment certificate of authenticity bearing our wax seal that identifies the wood type, length and magical properties.  It is then packaged in a silken wand pouch for shipment. They will also be adding several new wands over the next couple of weeks with new woods like apple, lilac and maple.

I own their Loony and Ginny wands and they are great!

Emma Watson Official has been updated with news for The Tale of Desperaux.

Hi Everyone,
We are happy to announce that the official website for the Tale of Despereaux is now live, you can view it here. The Tale of Despereaux is an animated feature film made by Universal Pictures and is due ot this Christmas with Emma voicing the character of Princess Pea.
The official website has a link to the teaser trailer [which i posted already] in which Emma’s character appears (towards the end) and includes some downloads and a few photographic stills from the film!

It’s a new month, so time for a new Site of the Month! I chose a non-Harry Potter this site, from one of my favorite movie series!

Surpassing Time
For July I chose Surpassing Time (aka Caspian and Susan [dot] com). It is an awesome source for Ben Barnes and Anna Popplewell news and much more! If you don’t know, they are in the Chronicles of Narnia films It also supports the ship of Susan Pevensie and Prince Caspian. A must see site!

Sky magazine has a Half-Blood Prince set report teaser the July issue. According to SS teaser reports “were embargoed until the premiere of the teaser trailer, which would seem to indicate that we will be seeing the trailer sometime this month!” Maybe with The Dark Knight, which opens July 18th?
