As I posted yesterday, JK Rowling received the Edinburgh Award. You can read about it HERE and see a photo of JK Rowling with her award!!!

It is an absolute honour to receive this award, as Edinburgh is very much home for me and is the place where Harry evolved over seven books and many, many hours of writing in its cafes So much has happened to me both professionally and personally since I moved here nearly 15 years ago, that to receive this recognition is particularly meaningful and special.

David Heyman, the producer of the Harry Potter films, has answered questions about Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows!

You’ve said that you want each of the Deathly Hallows films to have their own identities even though it’s ultimately one story. How will you apply this thinking?

DAVID HEYMAN: We try to focus on a specific theme within each film and each of these films will have a specific theme running through it. In terms of camera work and lighting there will be slight differences. We are aiming for a slightly different aesthetic.

Emma’s official site has been updated with news about fashion shows!

At the end of September and early October, Emma will be travelling to Paris to catch the Chanel, Balenciaga and [Alexander] McQueen shows as part of it’s fashion week!

Emma Watson has done a photo shoot for the October 2008 issue of Harper’s Bazaar.  The magazine comes out on September 23rd, Kirsten Dunst is on the cover.

As I posted a while ago, JK Rowling is set to receive the Edinburgh Award. The Herald is saying that this event will be held tonight in Edinburgh. JKR says:
