There are a bunch of new Emma Watson interviews online. The first is her appearance on This Morning. The second is when she was a celebrity elf for the Today Show. She collected gifts and talked about The Tale of Despereaux. The rest (which are there when you click More) are from the premiere and press junkets.
MTV: I have a few questions about those other films you’re sometimes associated with. Watson: [Laughs.] Oh, those ones no one’s heard of? MTV: Have you seen “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” yet? Watson: No! I’m dying over here. I literally can’t wait any longer. I think I’ll get to see it in January. MTV: What’s next for you? Watson: I’m attached to a film called “Napoleon and Betsy,” which will hopefully get shot in 2010. I’ve got the colossal final book [“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”] to finish off, and I’m going to university in September. I’m looking at scripts and auditioning. I’m very excited to do roles beyond “Potter.” It’s a very exciting time for me.
There is a new article online that is very interesting to read. It talks about the possibility of Beedle the Bard being a movie.
None of these stories seems to have any connection to the other, which ought to make it difficult for Warners to fit them all into a single film. Could they be planning five movies? That would seem unwise. These are short stories after all, it’s unlikely there’s enough material in any one story to justify a feature film.
According to our sources, Warners is still trying to figure out exactly how to make this work. But there’s definitely a strong interest in making Tales of Beedle The Bard: The Movie happen, once Harry Potter is over with.
Emma Watson has attended the Tale of Despereaux premiere that was held today in L.A., California! Photos are beginning to appear online and Emma looks gorgeous in a navy blue dress!
