Daniel Radcliffe,Rupert Grint and Emma Watson join filmmaker Chris Columbus and other esteemed cast members across all eight Harry Potter films as they travel back to Hogwarts for the first time to celebrate the anniversary of the franchise’s first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, which premiered 20 years ago today. The retrospective special Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will tell an enchanting making-of story through all-new in-depth interviews and cast conversations, inviting fans on a magical first-person journey through one of the most beloved film franchises of all time. The highly-anticipated retrospective will be a capstone event of the holiday season, dropping as the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, on HBO Max. The special will also debut on TBS and Cartoon Network in spring 2022 ahead of the Warner Bros. Pictures theatrical debut of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore and will roll out globally with more details to come.

The first episode “Gryffindor vs. Hufflepuff” will air on TBS and Cartoon Network on Sunday Nov. 28th at 8pm. After it’s first run on those channels it will be available on HBO Max next year.

Winning teams of each round will advance to the grand finale to determine who will take home the Tournament of Houses championship trophy.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by holding special screenings of the film in November. The film had it’s world premiere on November 4th 2001 and it’s official opening was November 16th 2001 in the UK, Ireland, USA and Canada.
After 20 years, relive the magic where it all began as Warner Bros. Studio Tour London invites guests to take a seat in the Great Hall of Hogwarts for a showing of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
Each evening from Friday 19th – Monday 22nd November, fans are invited to explore the authentic sets, props and costumes of the Studio Tour and stop for a refreshing Butterbeer before returning to the Great Hall after-hours. Visitors will step in to the festively decorated Great Hall and take a seat on comfy Hogwarts-house themed bean bags to enjoy the film with a drink and snack from the Honeydukes Trolley!
The screening on Monday 22nd November will be adapted for visitors on the autism spectrum and for those with other sensory needs.
