Finally putting this back up, so annoyed that I lost it, oh well here we go! This time it’s going to be quicker. This week we’ve featured that Harry Potter Special Edition UK Boxed set which I just got in the mail last week!
About: This set of books is truly a beautiful item, the books come in a red box with a red ribbon wrapped around them. Each book has a cloth cover with a small square where the children’s edition cover is placed.
Value: They are expensive right now but I have a feeling that if you keep yours with the plastic wrapping or in PERFECT unread condition opened you will be able to make a large profit out of them when you are really old or your children sell them. 😉
Buy It:Amazon.co.uk is the best place, or you can try eBay but thats more expensive. It’s about $170 right now to get them shipped to the US. BUY THEM!
Rating: 10/10 They are VERY expensive but a great buy for true Potter collectors!
Today we have three videos from the press conference held at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter on June 17th. The first is with Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton and Michale Gambon. The second with Matthew Lewis, Bonnie Wright, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps and Warwick Davis. The final video is with David Heyman, David Barron, Stuart Craig and Alan Gilmore.
In a new interview with MTV, Daniel Radcliffe discusses the Harry Potter theme park and gives us some interesting information about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Radcliffe himself was flooded with memories while standing there [Dumbledore’s Office]. The room most reminded him of the end of “Chamber of Secrets,” in the scene with Richard Harris’ Dumbledore and Jason Isaacs’ Lucius Malfoy. But he also said that the office plays a part in a scene audiences have yet to see.
“One of the key scenes in the series happens in this room, where towards the end of [‘Deathly Hallows’], Harry learns something about Snape’s past in relation to him, and that takes place in this room. In fact, actually, it takes place pretty much here,” he said, motioning to where he was standing. “And that is kind of pretty much possibly the key scene in the series, you might say. There’s a certain argument for that.”
Another article that was lost in the shuffle. Quickly copying the post from SS since I need to get back to work (I’ll add the Collectible of the Week back later tonight):
Daniel Radcliffe and Matthew Lewis admitted to CFNews13 that although main unit principal photography for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows completed a week ago, the pair still have two days each of second-unit filming left for the film. Dan stated that he has two days of underwater sequences he had yet to film; Matt said there were two more second-unit days he needed to complete. That can be viewed below.
Additionally in the video, Rupert Grint spoke about how much he enjoyed the iced Butterbeer, how odd it was to see his hologramed self inside Hogwarts, and that he would love to get a broomstick at Dervish and Banges; Warwick Davis went on the Flight of the Hippogriff roller coaster, the first ever in his life; Bonnie Wright was surprised to see there were actual shops from the books in the theme park, rather than general merchandise stores; and Tom Felton really loved that there wasn’t a single Muggle thing found throughout the Wizarding World.
Another article that was lost yesterday. Universal has released an official video from the Grand Opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Watch the video below.
According to The Wrap, Clemence Poesy may be guest starring in Gossip Girl next season. Clemence plays Fleur Delacour in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
A Warner Bros. spokesperson confirmed that the French actress is signed on to do a guest stint on the CW hit “Gossip Girl.” Poesy played young sorceress Fleur Delacour in the “Harry Potter” movies.
To avoid releasing any spoilers, the studio spokesperson said they couldn’t reveal any details about Poesy’s character or the number of episodes she will appear in.
“Gossip Girl’s” first two episodes of the coming season will be set in Paris, so we assume Poesy will be coming on the show to add a little local flavor.
A CW release last month said: “Season four will open with a radiant Serena and Blair enjoying their grand and romantic summer in Paris… until Chuck mysteriously arrives in town with a new girlfriend and a new identity.”
According to Entertainment Weekly, producers in May began casting the recurring role of Eva, “an utterly gorgeous female in her 20s or 30s who boasts a warm heart and an authentic French accent.”
This is the only post I remember that’s missing, I’ll fix the rest later
