Rupert Grint and Tom Felton participated in a Red Nose Day sketch to help raise money for Comic Relief. Roger Lloyd-Pack who played Barty Crouch in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is also in the skit as well as many well known stars such as Paul McCartney, Ringo Star and Keira Knightley. You can watch the clip below, parents be aware that there is some strong language in the sketch.  The description of the sketch is as follows: Lenny Henry and Richard Curtis are desperate for help with Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day 2011. They call on Smithy to save the day! He alone can talk a host of celebrities into taking part in this year’s Red Nose Day in a meaningful way!

This morning we have been sent the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 featurette that aired on ABC Family last night.  You can watch it below or on YouTube. We also have some new high quality stills that you can see here in the gallery!

According to The Daily Mail, Clemence Poesy is in the final stages of negotiations to play French-born Queen Isabella in Richard II, a new film for the BBC based on one of William Shakespeare’s plays.  Richard II is part of a 4 part series which will also include Henry IV Part 1 & 2 and Henry V.  It will be shot this coming June and July. Clemence is best known for playing Fleur Delacour in the Harry Potter films and has more recently guest starred on a few episodes of Gossip Girl.  More information on the film may be read below.

Clemence Poesy the Harry Potter star, has been picked to play Richard II’s Queen in an epic film based on Shakespeare’s historical play about the battle for the English crown. Ben Whishaw, who performed a landmark Hamlet for Trevor Nunn at the Old Vic, will play the monarch who believes he has the divine right to be King.

His [Director Rupert Goold] Richard II, though, will be opened out and shot like a proper movie. The drama will boast scale and grandeur. To that end, Andrew McAlpine, who designed An Education and Made In Dagenham, has been contracted as production designer and he, along with Goold and producers Ben Stephenson and Rupert Ryle-Hodges for the BBC, and Sam Mendes and Pippa Harris for Neal Street Productions, are considering using locations such as St David’s Cathedral in Pembrokeshire and Ely Cathedral in Cambridge.

The first preview of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 aired about 20 minutes ago on ABC family (8:05pm) for those of us on the East Coast and is now available to watch below. When a better version is released I will update this post. I also expect that WB will be sending over HQ versions of these clips sometime next week, so stay tuned for that!

A new photo from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 was released earlier this afternoon.  The photo features Harry in a secluded part of Hogwarts castle which we have previously seen in one of the earlier trailers.  See the image here in the gallery.
