In a new interview with E! Online, Tom Felton discusses the end of the Potter series as well as his upcoming movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
“It’s sad,” he told me the other day at the MTV Movie Awards. “It’s bittersweet because we’re ending on such a high note but at the same time, it’s the end. It’s going be a very sad, but a very happy day when [the last movie] comes out.”
But is there any—even the slightest—chance there could be another Potter movie down the road? “I very much doubt it,” Felton said. “The biggest chance of it is like in 20 years time and they remake the movies. I’ll play one of the old guys. I really don’t think [J.K. Rowling] will write anymore books.”

In a new interview with Metro Sirius Black actor Gary Oldman briefly talks about the Harry Potter series and Daniel Radcliffe.
Are you sad about the end of Harry Potter?
No I’m not but I’m sure that David Yates [director of the last four films] is, because he will never be allowed to work as slowly again.
Have you taken on any sort of godfather-ish role for real in Daniel Radcliffe’s life.
I know that, as an actor, Dan holds me in high regard. But it’s so strange. I saw him about a year ago here in LA and we had dinner. Here’s this kid who has done Equus and was about to star on Broadway singing and dancing. And he’s fearless. I remember this wonderfully bright kid who was 12 or 13 when I first worked with him. He’s a man now. It’s funny to watch.
