Potter Cast Talk Harry Potter Studio Tour
Posted by Megs

Den of Geek have posted a new article where they interviewed Tom Felton, Julie Walters, Warwick Davis, The Phelps’, Bonnie Wright and Natalia Tena at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London at Leavesden Studios. They all talk about the upcoming attraction and their favorite parts.

Can you tell us which props won’t be on display on the tour because they’re on your mantle pieces?

Julie Walters: Nothing.

Oliver Phelps: They’re all there.

James Phelps: Everyone wanted a wand, and we were hoping on the last day they’d see “You take that with you”.

OP: We were dropping hints…

JP: But when all the bigwigs from Warner Bros were over we kind of “It’d be nice to have our wands wouldn’t it?” and they were like, “Yeah, it would be good wouldn’t it” but that was it.

JW: That was the end of it.

It’s an outrage. So, which is the prop or set that impressed you the most? Is it the wands?

JW: The Weasley set of course. I wanted to live in it, it was like a home. It didn’t feel like a set, it was gorgeous, you couldn’t be on there long enough, the detail was enormous.

Bonnie Wright: One thing I wonder if they’ll ever show, was in Stuart Craig’s office above his desk he had this great drawing, just plain paper and felt tip pen, the first time that Jo and he met to sit down and discuss, she just did a really simple, simple map, like Hagrid’s house, Hogwarts, lake, Quidditch Pitch. It was literally just her drawing of where she knew in her mind where it was all going to be. It was above his desk throughout the whole film.

Pottermore Beta Testing Extended
Posted by Megs

The Pottermore Insider Blog has been updated to let fans know that Beta testing has been extended and that the site will have some down time starting on November 2nd.

After looking closely at all the information that we’ve gathered, we have decided to further extend the Beta period so we can improve Pottermore before giving more people access. This means the site will not be opening to new users in the immediate future, but please know that we will open registration as soon as we can.

As part of our work to make Pottermore even better, we’ll be taking the site down for a few days on Wednesday 2 November. We’re going to use this time to make a few technical changes behind-the-scenes.

[…]

So Pottermore will not be opening to new users just yet. For all of you who are waiting to enter Pottermore, we want to thank you for being so patient – we’re working very hard to make some exciting improvements, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming you to the site when it’s ready.

Someone on YouTube has posted all the deleted scenes from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II. Watch them below, you may want to do so quickly because WB may not want these online and they could be deleted. The trio getting ready to go to Gringotts, with Fleur and Bill helping and warning; Harry and Luna looking over Dobby’s grave; the trio talking to Aberforth Dumbledore in the Hog’s Head, in further detail; Harry hiding in a group of Gryffindor students, with robes on, next to Ginny at Hogwarts; Seamus and Neville perusing the Hogwarts bridge; Remus and Tonks reuniting at Hogwarts, with a brief mention of their son Teddy; Filch locking up the Slytherin students in the dungeons, only to have them escape; and Ron trying to confess his love for Hermione while running from Nagini
