I am going through all my affiliates and doing some major deleting. Some because of a lack of updating, them no longer having my link, and others because the sites are gone.

One Year Anniversary
Posted by Megs

Today marks the one year anniversary of my website!!! YAY!

I started the old version of this site (Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus) one year ago today. Click HERE to see the first ever layout made by my friend Casey. Back then the site was pretty small and didn’t get many viewers, and now look at it! A domain, skin changer, more pages and some loyal followers!

Thank you to everyone who came to the site when it was DDNT and thank you to everyone that visits now! You all rock and without you the site wouldn’t exist!

Summer Movie Preview
Posted by Megs

In another summer movie preview Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, more specifically Luna’s earrings, was discussed.

The new student at Hogwarts, the “odd” witch Luna Lovegood, is described in the novel as wearing radish earrings. The costume department on the film hired several jewelry designers to make the earrings, but Evanna Lynch, the young actress who plays Luna, was so into the character that she made her own. “And they were better!” says costume director Jany Temime. “More artsy-craftsy, more like what a creative young girl would do. The stuff we had was too professional. So we used hers.”

David Yates, Dan and Emma Interview
Posted by Megs

David Yates, Dan Radcliffe and Emma Watson have taken part in a new interview about Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Emma on David Yates:

He’s quiet, thoughtful, sensitive. Mike [Newell, director of Goblet of Fire] would sit in his chair and yell at us, or stand up and just be very loud and British. Whereas David will think for a bit, he’ll come over, speak a few words, keep it to a minimum. The thing that always comes up with David is finding truth in the characters, truth in the performance, make it real.

Dan:

“I’m ready to be pushed and challenged,” says Radcliffe, who this year made his London stage debut in “Equus” to good reviews. “The other directors could have pushed and challenged, and did, but I wasn’t ready. With David, I think I’m at a stage where I can more competently give him what he wants out of a scene and with more detail.”

David on Harry:

“I thought it would be interesting to make him feel a little bit more fragile, a bit more vulnerable. That heightens the emotional stakes because you know he can be killed.” Part of that change of emphasis was to treat magic as a vital, dangerous force. “To make people realize how powerful and dangerous magic could be.”
