My friend Jenny, at The Whole Horizon and Denouement Designs, has offered to host my site so I do not have to pay for my hosting anymore! Which is so kind of her!

I will be switching to her hosting tonight around 7pm my time(EST), which is a little over 4 hours away, and when I do there will be a few hours of site downtime. But never fear! The site will be back!

Mugglenet has posted a new interview with Chris Rankin, who plays Percy Weasley in the Harry Potter films, that a contributer to their site had.

JR: Have you met J.K. Rowling before?
CR: Yes, three or four times.

JR: And are you signed on for the sixth and seventh movies, as well?
CR: If they want me, yes. Nothing confirmed but if they offer, I will say yes. It really depends on the script. They option us. This is the contract, if we need you. And obviously, that’s always depending on the script.
If Percy turns out to be Lord Voldemort or something, yeah if they want me, I’ll do it. It would be great fun.

JR: I am assuming you would like to see Percy back together with his family?
CR: No, I wouldn’t actually. I’d like to see something awful happen to him, a horrible death.

The narrator of the Harry Potter series, Jim Dale, is going to be hosting a release party for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on July 20th.

The party will be taking place in the Barnes & Noble Union Square starting at 10:30pm. He will discuss how he was chosen to narrate the books and he will read some exerpts from the first 6 books.

Amazon reported this morning that they have reached 1 Million preorders for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. They have also lowered the price from $18.89 to $17.99.

In 2005, pre-orders for the sixth book, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” didn’t reach the 1 million worldwide mark at Amazon until 174 days after the book was first available for pre-order. It took just 95 days to reach that mark for the seventh book. In the U.S. alone, more than 620,000 copies of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” have already been pre-ordered while the company’s site in the U.K. has now surpassed 250,000 pre-orders.
