Devon Murray (Seamus Finnegan) is reportedly set to attend two early charity screenings of Half-Blood Prince in Colorado, US. The screenings will be hosted by There With Care, and will take place in Boulder on July 10th and Denver on July 12th.  There is also a report that Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) and Jamie Waylett (Vincent Crabbe) have recorded a special message that will be shown before the movie.

Rhys Ifans was interviewed on BBC Radio in Wales last week and a translation is now online. Here is a bit of the interview:

I can’t reveal much about the new Harry Potter film, which I don’t understand because the book is out anyway, but I had to sign a clause that I wouldn’t.  However, I play Xenophilus Lovegood, a wizard who is the father of Luna Lovegood, one of Harry Potter’s friends. That’s all I can really say because I haven’t read the book! There’s been so much money thrown at the project, with there having been [six] other films. They’re filming up in Leavesden near London in an old Rolls Royce airplane engine factory.I’m not a big fan of Harry Potter but it feels like a privilege to get called up with people like Maggie Smith and Michael Gambon so it’s an honour that they thought of me to play a cross-eyed wizard.

Adam Brashaw, a model, dancer and stuntman has confirmed to SS that he has been cast as a Snatcher for Deathly Hallows.

This has been my dream to work in the movies and what better movie start, I have been very excited! I’m looking forward to finishing the project and seeing the finished product on screen, as the action sequences we are doing are set to be truly amazing.

Rod Hunt, who played big blond Death Eater Thorfinn Rowle in Half-Blood Prince, has been cast to reprise his role in Deathly Hallows.

Chase Armitage, has been cast as a Snatcher for Deathly Hallows.  On his website he says:

My great passions come from anything with a challenge, I have always loved to put myself up against the odds, to try something a little different, I guess this is how I found myself in the disciplines of Parkour, Free-running and Martial-arts. These arts have always been with me, as a young boy I was always jumping, climbing, and imitating the action I saw in such Jackie Chan films. After training for a few years and hitting the age of college, I found myself interested in filming and editing my action material, so I got deeper into learning and the development of filming and editing.

As I reported yesterday, Rade Serbedzija was cast in Deathly Hallows. We now know that he was cast as wand-maker Gregorovitch.  The actor had this to say about the role: “I am going to play the role of a wizard who makes [wands] with special power. I will soon go to London to try on my costume.”
