Emma Watson Talks Dating with Music Room
Posted by Megs

In a new interview with Music Room, Emma Watson talks about dating and being single.

As a result of her fame the starlet is forever linked to eligible bachelors but she is quick to dismiss the intense speculation. Emma believes that its better that she remains single for now as she’s just too busy to commit to anyone. “It’s rubbish being my boyfriend. People are constantly coming up to me, I’m always working,” she explained. “I don’t have a boyfriend at the moment. It feels good, actually. It’s nice to be selfish.”

Despite her denials Emma has to contend with constant rumours over who she may or may not be dating. The actress is happy for speculation to mount providing it doesn’t alter the public’s perception of her. “I’m never going to confirm or deny who I am dating, but if they keep doing it, the tally will get so high – not very Hermione,” she joked.

Emma, Dan and Rupert Talk Christmas Traditions
Posted by Megs

Inquirer.net has some new interviews with Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe where they discuss their Christmas traditions.

“We have a proper log wood fire in my living room that really gets me in the Christmas mood,” “Harry Potter” star Emma Watson said in our chat in London. “And we have mince pies. That’s a very English thing. If you’ve never tried one, mince pies are absolutely delicious. You must have a mince pie.”

Emma added: “We always watch really good Christmas-y films by Richard Curtis like ‘Love Actually,’ ‘Bridget Jones’ and ‘Notting Hill’ or old BBC dramas like ‘Pride and Prejudice.’ I always play Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby’s Christmas album which is great … I curl up with my cats. I’m a cat person.”

Emma observes these traditions at her own place in London which she painted white. “My life is so chaotic and mad, so everything in my apartment is white,” she explained. After the holidays, she goes back to her studies at Brown University and in her dorm where “everything is blue and other calm colors.”

Rupert Grint confessed that he’s a serial shopping procrastinator: “I usually do the shopping at the last minute.” Otherwise, Rupert claims that it’s a pretty conventional Christmas in the Grint household. “We usually have a routine and we’ve stuck to that for the whole of my life,” said the carrot-haired actor who told us they have miniature pet animals at home. “I have a massive family. We just stay at home. It’s good to get everyone together. It’s a good time.”

In contrast, Daniel Radcliffe has a smaller gathering. “The whole family—it’s only a small group of us, really—get together and that’s it,” said the actor who’s doing musical theater on Broadway next year. “I’m always at home for Christmas. My only holiday wish this time is that England goes to Australia and win The Ashes (a cricket series). I’ll be staying up late quite a lot more to hopefully watch them win.”

Emma Watson First Person to be on a Moving Magazine Cover for iPad
Posted by Megs

Emma Watson is the first person to be on a moving magazine cover for the iPad! Marie Claire has debuted an interactive issue for Apple’s iPad that features a moving cover, as well as video clips and outtakes from Emma’s shoot exclusive to the iPad. You can see the cover in action here or below if you don’t have an iPad!

“[With the living cover] we had to map it out and when you look at it, it’s like one of those really complicated scientific computer drawings,” said Joanna Coles, editor in chief of Marie Claire, New York. “It’s the first time that it’s been done and I’m so excited. I showed it to a couple of men in the office and they just wanted it sitting on their desk, running on a loop, because it’s just so much fun – it looks like Emma’s kind of flirting, but in a nice way,” she said. “We really wanted to put the magazine in 3-D. The whole strategy was how do you create something that works with the strong abilities of the iPad design and I think what we wanted to figure out was not how to recreate the magazine on the iPad because I don’t think that’s the most exciting way of using the technology, it’s how can I take themes of the magazine and do something on the iPad.”

First Official Photo of Emma in ‘My Week with Marilyn’ and More Information on her Character
Posted by Megs

The Daily Mail has released the first official photo of Emma Watson as Lucy in My Week with Marilyn.  It also comes with an article that has more information on her character.

The film’s based on a memoir by Colin Clark, who was Laurence Olivier’s assistant on the movie and who, during an intense period of filming, became Marilyn Monroe’s confidant. But he flirted with Lucy as much as possible in between takes. Clark described Lucy as ‘one of the prettiest little girls I have ever seen in my life… slim as a wand, curly brown hair, huge brown eyes and a wide cheeky grin.’

Harvey told me: ‘For ten years she has been this schoolgirl in the Harry Potter films and now you see her as a woman for the first time. She has an elegance about her – she looks like Jean Shrimpton! – plus she has a gift for comedy and drama, and we’re just starting to see her range. I feel we’re going to work together a lot in the future.’

Emma Watson Talks ‘My Week with Marilyn’
Posted by Megs

In a new interview Emma Watson talks about her role in My Week with Marilyn where she plays a character named Lucy.

“It’s amazing to play a role that’s in a different time period – the 50s are so much fun and I loved wearing the costumes,” she said. While she had a ball with the ladylike costumes, Emma reckons she wouldn’t like to wear them all the time. “I certainly felt more feminine – they were really about curves and a waist, and I thought, ‘Wouldn’t it be nice to be more womanly?'” she continued, adding: “I say that, but I was wearing a waspie, a 50s version of a corset, and I certainly wouldn’t last very long in one of those.”

Michelle Williams takes the title role in the Simon Curtis period drama, but most of Emma’s scenes were with Eddie Redmayne, who plays British writer-director Colin Clark. “Eddie was just such a delight to work with, such a generous actor,” she gushed. “It’s a great little role, I’m really thrilled to be a part of it. It was lovely to start with my new career and my new life really.”

She reckoned fans won’t be disappointed: “[Distributor] Harvey Weinstein showed me the trailer before I went off set, and it’s going to be good.”
