WB have just emailed with a new press release regarding an event that will be held in LA this coming Thursday. Read the full press release here.
Be a part of history and celebrate the final adventure of the most successful film franchise of all time at the Ultimate Fan Celebration for Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows – Part 2.” The event is being held on Thursday, July 14th at Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, from 9:00 p.m. to the midnight hour, when the film officially opens.
Additionally, a representative from the Chinese Theatre emailed to give some more information:
We will be offering FREE POPCORN to ticket holders opening weekend (July 15th-17th). Tickets can be purchased here –http://www.chinesetheatres.com.
[…] a month long Harry Potter Film Festival / Extravaganza is going on NOW at the Chinese Theatre. The REAL Harry Potter costumes are currently on display in the lobby. And….beginning July 9th all of the earlier films will be playing on the big screen, in case you may have missed one or want to re-watch any favorites in anticipation of the final film.
The festival ends on July 14th with THE ULTIMATE HARRY POTTER FAN CELEBRATION, which will take place between 9PM-Midnight in the Chinese Theatre forecourt. All Potter fans can enter to win FREE prizes raffled off by Power 106FM and Chinese Theatres…including DVD Sets, T-Shirts, BluRay packs, Soundtracks and Video Games!
This evening EXTRA TV have sent over some of their footage from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II premiere in New York City. They aired more footage on their show tonight so that may be online soon as well.
Pop sugar have sent over their love stream for tonight’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premiere being held in NYC. You can watch below starting around 5pm EST. I will be on the red carpet as well and will have footage very soon!

The final “Harry Potter” has sold over 2,000 showtimes on Fandango all over the country and is currently:
Fandango’s fastest-selling title of the year so far;
71 % of daily ticket sales on Fandango;
Outperforming each previous “Potter” film in ticket sales on Fandango at the same point in each film’s sales cycle;
Selling twice as many tickets as “Half-Blood” sold at the same point in that film’s sales cycle.
