Harry Potter fans living in France (or anywhere that can play a Region 2 DVD) have a nice treat to take advantage of, Amazon France is offering 5 different versions of a Collectors Edition DVD that you can pre-order now until February 13th.  The pages state that the DVD will be released on April 16th 2011, this is not totally confirmed but it seems to go along with the usual DVD release dates.  The covers feature Ron Weasley, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Lord Voldemort or Dobby. From 02 January to 13 February 2011, learn to pre-order 5 2 DVD Collectors edition of the seventh installment of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1: limited editions bearing the likeness of famous heroes Harry, Hermione Ron, Dobby and Voldemort.
These editions include: film + 1 bonus DVD (deleted scenes, retrospective, the secrets of the soundtrack …) + 1 poster.
Limited Editions: after February 13, it will be impossible to order these products.

It is unknown whether or not these will be available in other countries, but if they become available I’ll make sure to post.
