Warner Brothers issued a press release about the worldwide satellite debut of the Half-Blood Prince teaser trailer.

The trailer will be beamed on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 and Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 9:00 PM – 9:15 PM, EST and 6:00 AM – 6:15 AM, EST.

Emma Watson’s film Ballet Shoes will be released in 171 US theatres for a week – starting August 26th, before it is available for purchase on DVD in the US.  The trailer for the film will be released in theatres beginning August 1st; and the theatrical poster will be out three days after the trailer, on Monday, August 4th, 2008.

The British Board of Film Classification made an update yesterday about a combined IMAX Half-Blood Prince and Watchmen teaser trailer.  The running time is listed as 2 minutes 40 seconds. This is for both of the trailers combined, so each is probably around a minute and 20 seconds long, as is normal for a teaser.

The Harry Potter films have made yet another top movie list! This time it is the Kids First Top 100 Kid Films! All 5 of the Harry Potter films are on the list along with many other great movies. Such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Narnia, The Princess Bride and many Disney movies. (I named some of my favorites from the list, click the link above to see them all)

These are films for kids between the ages of 2 and 18 that KIDS FIRST! believes to have universal appeal, exhibit outstanding attributes in terms of their production quality. They exhibit qualities that make them as applicable today as the day they were first released.

Cine Replicas and Penguin Books have updated their sites and show new photos of Harry, Ron, and Dumbledore from Half-Blood Prince.
