A couple new clips from Emma Watson’s new film, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, have been released online and may be watched below! The film will be released in the US on September 21st.
Empire is reporting that Tom Felton will be starring in the upcoming film, Belle, which also stars fellow Potter star Miranda Richardson (Rita Skeeter.) The film starts shooting on September 23rd and, as of yet, it is unknown what Tom’s role in the film will be. According to the article, the film is
Amma Asante’s 18th century romance, offering Feltonians the chance to see their man in period garb in an Jane Austen-like romance. […] the film is inspired by a painting. In this case, it’s a 1779 portrait of Dido Elizabeth Belle (Gugu Mbatha Raw), a mixed-raised girl who is brought up as an aristocrat in a censorious, disapproving country. Producer Damian Jones is promising “a powerful tale inspired by true historical events”.

Belle is notable, too, for being one of the early beneficiaries of the BFI’s new funding apparatus, the replacement for the UK Film Council. The seven-week shoot is taking place at Pinewood, as well as locations in Oxford, London and the Isle of Man.
The first trailer for Matthew Lewis’s new film, Wasteland has been released and may be watched below! Matthew plays the role of Dodd in the film which will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. It was shown today (September 7th) and will be shown again on the 8th and 9th. Sony Playstation has released a new video for Harry Potter Wonderbook: Book of Spells, which will be available on November 13th. It has been revealed that the game will be available as a bundle including the Book of Spells game, Wonderbook peripheral, PlayStation Eye camera and a PlayStation Move motion controller. That bundle will cost $79.99, if fans wish to purchase only the game, it will cost $39.99.

The first clip of Evanna Lynch in the Sky miniseries Sinbad has been released online. The clip is from the final episode, airing on September 23rd in the UK. The 12 part series follows the adventures of Sinbad and will air in the US on SyFy in April of 2013.
Evanna stars as Alehna, Taryn’s daughter, who Sinbad and the crew meet in the season finale, but Harry Potter fans will recognise her as Ravenclaw student Luna Lovegood, who appeared in four of the Harry Potter films.
