A couple of quick product notes for this morning. First, Hot Topic has started to stock some new items in preparation of the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. You can view all their Harry Potter items at this page.
Second, the website GetGlue, which offers stickers for watching movies (as well as other activities) has teamed up with Warner Bros. to release stickers for the Deathly Hallows release. To get the stickers you must “check in” to say that you’re watching videos. Once you earn 20 stickers you can request actual copies of the stickers and they will be sent to you!

You can earn these checking-in on different days to one of the previous movies via our app or website to unlock these magical stickers. And if you plan on attending the midnight screening of Harry Potter be sure to check-in again to share what you’re watching and to earn another coveted sticker.
Representatives of EA Games have sent over a new trailer and press release for the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II video game which will be released this summer. Watch the trailer below and read the full press release here.
This new trailer introduces the characters that players will be able to play to assist Harry Potter as he battles to save Hogwarts. With Hogwarts under siege from Voldemort’s dark forces, players can not only play as Harry, but also step into the shoes of 8 iconic Wizard heroes as each plays their part to defeat the Dark Lord. Joining Harry Potter on this most urgent quest are Ron, Hermione, Neville, Seamus, Ginny, Molly and the powerful Professor McGonagall. Warner Bros have announced today that the LEGO® Harry Potter™: Years 5-7 game will be released later this year. It will be released for the Xbox 360®, PlayStation®3, PSP® (PlayStation®Portable), the NGP system, the Wii™ system, the Nintendo DS™ and Nintendo 3DS™ hand-held systems and Windows PC.

The EA Play Label today announced the official kick-off of the “EA Reporters” competition, in which select fans will win a trip to EA’s UK-based Bright Light™ Studio to meet the development team behind the Harry Potter™ video games, as well as actor Tom Felton! To enter you must create a short, original video, highlighting your love of the Harry Potter franchise and the video games, and then submit it online.”
Finalists will be selected by an EA™ internal panel, and winners (as voted by the community) will receive the once-in-a-lifetime trip to get a behind the scenes look at their favorite franchise, as well as report on the development of the upcoming game. Originality and creativity are absolutely critical to success.
