Bloomsbury Publishing Dyslexia Friendly Editions of The Hogwarts Library

Today Bloomsbury publishes large print dyslexia friendly editions of The Hogwarts Library. This includes a trio of books – Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Quidditch Through the Ages and The Tales of Beedle the Bard. They have been specially designed in conjunction with several dyslexia and blindness foundations so these books are made even more accessible to Harry Potter fans.

All three books were written by J.K. Rowling over the years to support Comic Relief and other charities. These editions have covers by Jonny Duddle and interior illustrations by Tomislav Tomic. They are available today, February 7th, for £20 each. Purchase the books below:

Bloomsbury are currently exploring options to publish the original Harry Potter series in large print dyslexia friendly editions too!

For the first time Bloomsbury will publish large print dyslexia friendly editions of the much-loved companion novels to the classic Harry Potter series. A treasure trove of beastly creations, sporting legends and inspiring fairy tales, the three books in The Hogwarts Library bring extra depth and richness to the wizarding world created by J.K. Rowling.
 
The large print, dyslexia-friendly editions all include features to aid accessibility. This includes RNIB-approved and dyslexia-friendly fonts and font sizes, tinted paper for glare reduction and maximum contrast, captions and detailed descriptions to accompany each illustration and themed navigational aids to assist the reader.  The editions include J.K. Rowling’s original text as well as gorgeous jacket art by Jonny Duddle and line illustrations throughout by Tomislav Tomic. 
 
Bloomsbury have worked with several key dyslexia and blindness foundations to ensure that these captivating stories are as accessible as possible and allow even more readers to immerse themselves in the expanded world that began with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Review: Puffs Filmed Live Off Broadway is Now Streaming!

Since its initial run at the Peoples Improv Theater, PUFFS or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic & Magic has hopped from The Elektra Theater to New World Stages, where it currently resides, and its popularity has only climbed, achieving international attention and excellent reviews.

Thankfully, for those viewers who might not have access to the New York City theater scene, PUFFS can now be viewed by anyone around the world. The play, filmed live, is available to stream (and download!) on BroadwayHD, iTunes, and Amazon as of November 22nd.

Written as part of the School of Theater and Dance program at the University of Florida, playwright Matt Cox and his original production team, director Kristin McCarthy Parker, Stephen Stout (who plays Ernie Mac), andColin Waitt brought PUFFS to the Peoples Improv Theater in 2015.

New Block of Tickets for Cursed Child on Broadway Releasing This Month

Over 100,000 new tickets at all price points will be released on Thursday, September 27 at 11:00 AM ET for performances through June 9, 2019. To purchase tickets on the 27th:

Visit the official website www.HarryPotterThePlay.com and join the Virtual Waiting Room at any time between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM ET.

When tickets are released at 11:00 AM ET, everyone in the Virtual Waiting Room will be randomly assigned a place in the queue for the opportunity to purchase tickets. The randomization of the queue allows the purchase of tickets to be as fair as possible and provides protection against bots. These tickets will not require an Access Code to purchase.
