On November 8th at 10pm EST (check your listings), the Food Network will be airing a new episode of Ace of Cakes about the making of the cake for the NYC HBP Premiere after party! If you recall, they did the cake for the LA Order of the Phoenix Premiere!

Duff is once again invited to celebrate with the Hogwarts crowd as he makes a uniquely designed cake for the US premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Watch an interview with Duff at the HBP premiere and a photo (click for a larger version)!  At 2:20 he discusses the cake for the premiere, a working Hogwarts Express complete with a light, steam and backdrop.

Well this isn’t really Potter related but for those of you that don’t know Emerson Spartz of Mugglenet proposed to his girlfriend Gaby last night at the Chicago Bulls basketball game!  She of course said YES!
