Apple Store Cast Q&A
Posted by Megs

Today the Apple store in SoHo had a cast Q&A session with members of the Harry Potter cast. David Barron, David Heyman, Michael Gambon, Warwick Davis, Robbie Coltrane, Helen McCrory, David Thewlis, Natalia Tena, Bonnie Wright, Evanna Lynch, Freddie Stroma and the Phelps twins were in attendance. I was at the event on behalf of the website but no flash photography or recording of the event were permitted so to hear all of the answers you will have to wait for Apple to release the vide, which should be later tonight. I did try to take some photos but they didn’t come out. Here is a small preview though.

The cast were asked what their favorite scene was, whether they filmed it or they just enjoyed it. Their answers are as follows (is is not exact wording, I was feverishly writing so I would remember what they said)

Michael Gambon – his scenes in the Great Hall making speeches
David Heyman – Less actiony scenes such as Harry flying Buckbeak, Harry and Hermione dancing in DH, and when the Gryffindor boys ate the animal candies
David Barron – the “no post on Sundays” scene from SS
Robbie Coltrane – Norbert hatching and subsequently catching his beard on fire
Warwick Davis – the Tale of the Three Brothers animation as well as his stage dive in GoF
Helen McCrory – Harry confronting Voldemort in Part 2
David Thewlis – Aunt Marge being blown up and turning into a werewolf
Natalia Tena – the Tale of the Three Brothers animation and flying on broomsticks
Bonnie Wright – filming in the Chamber of Secrets because it was a turning point for Ginny and the Epilogue
Oliver Phelps – Giving Harry the Mauraders Map and the twins fight in GoF
James Phelps – the joke shop scenes in HBP
Evanna Lynch – the Weasley wedding because it showed that wizards are normal, the people dancing in the background specifically
Freddie Stroma – Quidditch scenes; they just threw balls at him and he had to hit them away which made for some interesting moments; smashing a light, hitting a fan, and hitting a person

I will post the link to the video when it is available for download

Posted by Megs

Today there is a small article online as well as photos from Matthew Lewis, Tom Felton, Jessie Cave, Alfie Enoch and Natalia Tena’s appearance at the Magic Christmas convention in Paris. You can see the photos here and here and a short translation of the article below.  Photos of just Matthew at the event may be seen here!

The weekend of 18 and 19 December 2010 (inclusive), was wonderful except the mess on the organization procedure the day of 18 December 2010
The day began with a long wait in the cold in 8 hours and during this one hour and fifteen minutes, and then one or two tails to get the media pass and autographs, and check your coat to leave my backpack and my coat.

I climb upstairs and I agree with the stands, I quickly look at what they offer (a booth to get personalized jewelry, shoes and sweatshirt fashion HP’s booth in the park in Florida and stay at sea The Daily Prophet, Obscurus Press, the Pensieve HP, Spotlight Events to buy keyrings, badges, t-shirts, autographs, carriers and / or additional photoshoots, a stand up and stand Cosplay).

The autograph sessions and photo shoots begin to everybody, I pass a No. 27 was either the 7th Group.

So I begin with an autograph session with Mister Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), a very nice boy, he asked me if I was okay and my name, besides I beugué on spelling of my name: p It was very casual (dress).

Then I’m heading in the queue for the photoshoot with Mister Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) where I sympathize with two girls (I’m going to the cuckoo and Mr. C., they will recognize ), A very nice boy really, who does not hesitate to “stick” near you Very far from the image of the wicked and cowardly Draco, really cool guys like.

Then comes the turn of Miss Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks), which is funny, kind, makes you a kiss, appears and asks you if you’re okay (she speaks a little French), really great! Elle était habillée avec son style si particulier, un peu à la Tonks (Non, je rigole …) She was dressed in his particular style, a bit like Tonks (No, just kidding …)

I returned to the autograph session with Miss Jessie Cave (Lavender Brown), a very nice girl, she was dressed as in the sixth film, a little reserved in appearance, but very endearing, not as we want to Lavender type

Unfortunately, Mister Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) could not be present because of the snow, his plane has been deleted

I also wanted to go see the French voices, but because of the organization, they were completely behind

In the afternoon, there was the game of questions and answers, everybody played along and answered all the questions, with a few giggles in more

Then 18 hours or so, I went to the hotel to change clothes and put on my prom dress (it was more a party dress), the evening started at 9:00 p.m. with the photoshoot of the Orders of Merlin with all guests (I remember I had a pass Sorcerer) and also had a special moment with the guests (Tom Felton, Matthew Lewis, Jessie Cave, Natalia Tena and Alfie Enoch who was also there for the evening, but not during the day because of exams). There were types of music clubs, and some songs of the fourth movie genre with The Story Continues, Potter Waltz, where some people (mostly girls together) have danced the waltz and went 2 times Do The Hyppogriff where we danced to the beat of the Weird Sisters. La soirée s’est terminée à minuit, comme Cendrillon The evening ended at midnight, like Cinderella

procedure the day of 19 December 2010
I arrived at about 9 o’clock, I started with the photoshoot with Matthew Lewis. D’ailleurs, très mauvais point pour la personne qui m’a envoyé boulet Moreover, very bad thing for the person who sent me ball but ultimately, I managed not to drop the piece, I had my picture with Matthew And it was just one with the photoshoot with Alfie Enoch, a boy really cool, still trying to laugh
Then in late morning, I went to shoot with Jessie Cave, who puts his arm around your waist for you to be right next to her.

Moreover, be called by the way, all the guests raised their arms and went around your waist for you to be very close to them

And in the afternoon, during the play of questions and answers, I went to queue to get my autograph Natalia Tena, who wrote a “nice” sentence in French (Really) the portion Matthew speaks a little French and knows very well “Liberty, Equality, Fraternity”, he came once 10 years ago in Paris.

Natalia Tena Talks Potter & More
Posted by Megs

In a new interview, Natalia Tena who plays Tonks, talked about Harry Potter and more!

One of the stars of the International Comic Salon Malaga was Natalia Tena, the actress who portrays Tonks in the last four films of the Harry Potter saga, including the two parts of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’, to debut soon.

Tena, who have parents [emigrated] but has grown in Britain, plays a witch who can take the form of anything at any time. “If I had that power would transform me into an otter, because I love the water,” she said.

No wonder the claim because the liquid element appears to be present in many moments of her life. In fact, she came directly from the beach with flip flops and her clothing still wet. Still, she was “delighted to be with these people” and agreed to take photos with all of her fans.

The role of Tonks in Harry Potter came after spending time on the beach, but this time the coast of Ireland. “When I got up that morning I had the feeling that my agent would call me.”

Tena has recalled the “fun” was the shooting in which “ate, smoked and chatted” with all the actors in the hope “that could be every day.” Also, she said with praised, “I loved the make-up staff.”

Although their participation in the series is “something very big and exciting,” Tena has been happy with the fact that it is the end and she has time “to do other things.”

As well as keeping people’s feet busy, Natalia has also starred in Harry Potter (amongst other things). What was it like working with those folk and is Daniel Radcliffe really a sexually dubious mummy’s boy as per his Extras appearance?
Nat:
I got to pick my wand! It was very early mornings and lots of waiting interspersed with catching lots of jokes and riding on brooms. Daniel is banging and has enough energy to power rush-hour. The make-up ladies have brilliantly naughty laughs, especially Amanda and Sarah.

My werewolf husband in it, David Thewlis, reduced me to tears of hysteria various times before takes which were meant to be taken seriously and somewhere in Leavesden Studio is a plaster cast of my [bum]. Oh and Brendan Gleeson has the best hug, big arms you see.

We GOT TO PLAY THE WRAP PARTY!!!!! It was at the studio this summer, outside and just before we started playing the sky [hit] us with rain but it worked in our favour as everyone got on stage with us for cover and danced the [hell] out of it with us. There was a fairground for [eff’s] sake!!!! Epic. I wore blindness-inducing pink with lashes to match and the boys scrubbed up like desperate hookers. Burgers were good too.

Thanks SS!
