In a new interview with What’s on TV, Julie Walters discusses the next Harry Potter film! Julie plays the lovable Molly Weasley in the films! There is a spoiler in the text so don’t read if you haven’t finished Deathly Hallows.
So what’s next for you?
“It is back to Harry Potter. Mrs Weasley has a lot to do this time. I kill Helena Bonham Carter for a start – and not many can say that. We have a bit of a wand contest, I can’t wait. It will be sad, though, because I’ve watched all of them all grow up. It will certainly leave a void.”

She will be given the star by Lord Mayor Coun Michael Wilkes later this month. Today, Julie said: “I am honoured to be given a star on the Walk of Stars.” Set to turn 60 next February, convent-educated Julie was born in Smethwick and originally set out to be a nurse, before going to Manchester to study drama on the road to becoming a television and film star of international repute.
Julie has a daughter, Maisie, by husband Grant Roffey with whom she lives on a farm in West Sussex. She will be given the award on Tuesday, October 27. During the visit, Julie will be taking part in a Q&A at the Birmingham Rep theatre at 2pm

MSN UK News has made up list for a “dream team of stars that should help run the country”. Included on the list are Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe, Stephen Fry and Julie Walters!
Julie Walters:
Title: Secretary of State for one thing and another
She’s Britain’s First Auntie, always ready with a kindly word and a shoulder to lean or cry on. Domestic squabbles, municipal tiffs, a bit of bother with the state of the pavements down your high street: Julie would know what to do and how to do it.
Daniel Radcliffe:
Title: Chancellor of the Exchequer
Comes replete with obvious wizardry credentials, essential to help us out of the global economic crisis.
Stephen Fry:
Title: Father of the nation
Writer, presenter, comedian, broadcaster, dramatist, actor, full-time national treasure and all-round good egg. What more needs to be said?

There is a new interview with Julie Walters where she talks about a lot of fun stuff!
She speaks of all the young Potter stars, especially Rupert Grint, with real fondness. Daniel Radcliffe, she reckons, will probably end up directing. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is due out this year, and the next two, both based on the final book, are yet to be filmed. “I’m in them loads!†says Walters, and her eyes narrow. Then she does a new accent, which is basically herself, but evil. “I think I have to kill Helena Bonham Carter,†she says. Then she cackles again, like your favourite witchy aunt.
Thanks SS!
