As I posted last month, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II and various cast members were long-listed for the 2012 Peoples Choice Awards. Today the final nominees have been announced and many of the Potter stars have been nominated. Vote for your favorites at this link! Good luck Deathly Hallows, Emma, Dan, Rupert and Tom!
A new video interview with Emma Watson has appeared online as part of promotional material for My Week With Marilyn. The film will come out in theatres on November 23, 2011 and Emma’s Potter co-stars Kenneth Branagh, Toby Jones, Geraldine Somerville and Zoë Wanamaker are also in the film. Emma plays Lucy, a wardrobe assistant to Marilyn Monroe during production of The Prince and the Showgirl in 1956. [I recommend seeing The Prince and the Showgirl if you’ve never seen it before, it’s a great movie and it may help enhance the viewing experience when you see My Week with Marilyn]
Michelle Williams stars in My Week with Marilyn as Marilyn Monroe, as seen through the diaries of British filmmaker Colin Clark (played by Eddie Redmayne). The film is set in the summer of 1956, during production of The Prince and the Showgirl, in which the young Clark introduced Monroe to British life, providing welcome relief from the pressures of Hollywood.
A couple more new videos from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II DVD have been released. The first comes from Marie Claire UK and shows a clip from The Women of Harry Potter feature where Bonnie Wright and J.K. Rowling talk about McGonagall.
The second is another clip from Harry Potter: The Quest; it goes behind the scenes of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts I and II. In this video Warwick Davis takes us on a tour through Leavesden Studios.

Voting has begun for Portrait Magazine‘s Top 30 Under 30 poll and the Harry Potter Cst is on the list! Currently they have 2% of the votes and are in 12th place. Let’s get them to number one because the person or group with the most votes will appear on the December cover! I’m not sure who they are counting as the “Harry Potter Cast” but I assume it would at least be Dan, Emma, Rupert and Tom. I’ve asked for confirmation on who would be included, so if I get that information I’ll update the post. UPDATE: Okay, the list includes: Daniel, Emma, Rupert, Tom, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch, the Phelps Brothers, and Bonnie Wright. There could also be others such as Katie Leung and Alfie Enoch but that will be decided at the end of voting.
The entire Top 30 will be featured in the issue. Voting lasts through November 23, and you can vote as often as you like. The FAQs for the voting may be read here.
