Postman Pat: The Movie, which features the voice talents of Rupert Grint, Jim Broadbent and David Tennant, has been acquired by Shout! Factory and will be released in New York and Los Angeles on June 27th. A trailer for the film may be seen below:

The 2014 BAFTA Awards were televised this evening in London and a few Harry Potter stars took away awards. David Bradley, who played Argus Filch the Caretaker, won Best Supporting Actor for his work in Broadchurch. Broadchurch, which also stars David Tennant (Barty Crouch Jr.), won Best Drama.
The Doctor Who episode, Doctor Who: Day Of The Doctor, which starred Tennant and John Hurt (Ollivander) won the RadioTimes Audience Award which was voted on by fans.
Julie Walters was the recipient of the Fellowship award, the highest accolade bestowed by the Academy in recognition of an outstanding and exceptional contribution to film, television or games. A video of Julie before the ceremony may be read below:

The second theatrical trailer for ‘Postman Pat: The Movie’ has been released by Lionsgate Films this morning. Rupert Grint, Jim Broadbent and David Tennant all voice characters in this animated film, due to be released in the UK on May 23rd. Rupert voices the character of Josh, Jim works at the Post Office and David plays Postman Pat’s nemesis who tries to stop Pat from becoming famous.
The film finds Pat, everyone’s favourite postman, coming face-to-face with the temptations of money, status and a shiny new suit when he enters a national TV talent show competition that threatens to tear him away from his hometown of Greendale and his family and friends. What happens when kindness meets selfishness? When local fame meets Global notoriety? Will a nice cup of tea be kicked aside by a Frappacapacino Pat is set to find out as he falls for the age-old temptation of the grass being greener…
