According to TLC, there is word that actress Carolyn Pickles has been cast as Muggle Studies professor Charity Burbage in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
We will treat this as a rumour until it is confirmed by Warner Bros.
If you recall, a few days ago I posted about Michelle Obama and her two daughters visiting the Harry Potter set and then updated to say it was false. It actually was true. A spokesperson for Michelle Obama confirmed that while in London “Mrs Obama and her daughters had been in London and had visited the famous clock tower at the Houses of Parliament that houses the Big Ben bell, along with Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London and a Harry Potter set.” The Times also has an article on the visit:
Michelle Obama took her daughters to meet the stars of Harry Pottter today and enjoy a party on the set of the final instalments of the boy-wizard series. The trip was an eighth birthday treat for the Obamas’ younger daughter, Sasha, although Malia, 10, also went along for the ride.
The Watford Observer reports: “First Family arrived on site at about 1pm and were taken on a tour of the set before celebrating with author J K Rowling and a large group of youngsters. Young Sasha and sister Malia, 10, both avid Harry Potter fans, were then treated to a surprise visit by star Daniel Radcliffe. The source said Mrs Obama, who had her hair tied back in a bun, looked ‘very elegant’.”
A bunch of Potter boys made it on to the Twitter Wall of Fame from the Mr Twitterverse competition! Matt Lewis is number 11, Tom Felton is number 4, James Phelps is 9 and Oliver Phelps is 10!
