If you recall, a few days ago I posted about James and Oliver Phelps being on the television show Blue Peter. According to a TLC reader:
Just seen Blue Peter where they showed a brief clip of Ron, Hermione, and Harry in the Weasley joke shop. It showed Hermione furtively putting a product back, and then Ron following the twins up the stairs with a product asking how much it was, the twins answered 5 galleons, and Ron quite peeved said I’m your brother and they looked at each other and turned to Ron and answered “10 galleons”. The shop was full of kids and products, it was off-the-wall to look at.
The twins built a mat that shot water up from it if you stood on it and got water sprayed at one of them … They weren’t bothered though. They said they played practical jokes mainly on the crew not really on Dan or the lead cast etc
I will post the video as soon as it comes online!

There is a new article online at Irish Central that has a small interview with Devon Murray who plays Seamus Finnigan in the Harry Potter films.
“I don’t really get recognized here [in Ireland] that much and Irish people are so down-to-earth anyway, they would leave you alone even if they did know you.
“It’s more when I go to America that they go mad for anyone connected with the movie. It was also crazy when we did a promotional tour in Japan, I must have shook hands with about two million people during that trip alone, it was mental,” he said.

J.K. Rowling attended a fund raiser to raise money for the Piggy Bank Kids foundation this past weekend. The charity “[Helps] solve pregnancy difficulties and save newborn lives. We also work on partnership projects with other child- and youth-focused charities.”
After the three-hour dinner, guests enjoyed an auction of specially designed piggy banks. The PM’s sons, John and Fraser, were co-creators of two banks, while Harry Potter author Rowling etched a special message – ‘Magic pigs can fly’ – on the side of hers.
Thanks SS!
