JKR to attend dinner with Michelle Obama
Posted by Megs

The Times Online reports that the Michelle Obama will be spending part of her trip in London at a special dinner where author JK Rowling will be in attendance.

It is among the trickiest of decisions for any hostess. But when Sarah Brown was deciding who to put next to Michelle Obama at tonight’s dinner for summit spouses in 10 Downing Street, she had years of experience in public relations to draw on.

Seated on one side of Mrs Obama will be J. K. Rowling, the author; on the other will be Kelly Holmes, the double Olympic gold medallist.

Thanks Mugglenet!

HBP trailer screened at ShoWest
Posted by Megs

Today there are a few reports online about a HBP trailer being screned at ShoWest.  According to the article, “Dumbledore also has a line of dialogue that definitely isn’t part of the book– ‘Voldemort has chosen Draco Malfoy for a mission.;’ ”  The article also states:

Alan Horn asked at the beginning of the presentation if we’d all forgiven him yet for delaying this movie’s release from last fall to this summer. The answer is no, probably, and new footage like this doesn’t make the wait any easier. But at least we know we’ve got something to look forward to.

Rhys Ifans Talks Deathly Hallows
Posted by Megs

A few days ago I posted about Rhys Ifans confirming he has a role in Deathly Hallows.  He has now confirmed that he will be playing Luna’s father, Xenophilius Lovegood.

Q. Who do you play in Harry Potter? And is this something quite new for you, to be doing family orientated movies?
Rhys Ifans: I play a wizard. The last few Harry Potter films, I think they’re really cool. I was never a real fan of Harry Potter, but I love how they’ve become darker, and I love how Daniel Radcliffe and his co-stars have grown up through the telling of the story. Harry Potter is a little bit of history; it will be. So it’s been kind of a real honour being asked to be part of a project like that, and though I haven’t got kids myself, a lot of my friends have kids, so it’ll be great to do something they can see. He’s a good wizard – a really great guy. In Nanny McPhee, I’m a bad guy, someone you’d boo and hiss at.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?!!!! 😀

UPDATE: Well we are having some difficulties with the categories for some reason.  But I need to go to bed (early class -_-) so hopefully it shall work soon! I also added an RSS feed link on the left sidebar if you need it.
