Scholastic, the US publishers of the Harry Potter novels, will be releasing a new box set of the series on July 7th 2009. You can preorder the set for $58.67 at Barnes and Noble. The box set will include all seven books and the box will have the Deathly Hallows deluxe cover art on it, the books also have a different spine (which might make this webmiss want to buy this set even though she has at least 3 copies of each book ).
Don’t forget that the paperback version of Deathly Hallows will also be released on July 7th this year.

MTV will premiere a new video for Half-Blood Prince on Saturday, February 21st. It will air during Spoilers at 8:00 p.m. EST. The show features Watchmen, but will have “exclusive new looks” at Half-Blood Prince.

Steffan Rhodri has been cast to play Ministry of Magic employee Reg Cattermole. If you remember, Ron Weasley turns into him by using Polyjuice Potion, in Deathly Hallows.
“I’ll be filming in London during the autumn,†he said. “I’m really looking forward to it, it’s the biggest film I’ve been involved with.â€

The New York Times is reporting that Warner Bros. says that a clip from Half-Blood Prince will be aired during the February 22nd broadcast of the Academy Awards. It will be part of the Oscars’ end-of-show, upcoming-movie montage.
This has not been confirmed so keep it in the rumor category for now!

In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Rupert discusses Half Blood Prince and Cherrybomb.
Grint will start shooting this month on the final book of the seven in the “Harry Potter” series, which is being made as two films at Leavesden Studios in Watford. “Fourteen months for Part 1 and Part 2, more or less back-to-back. It’s going to be long, but it’s going to be good I think, I really liked the book and the script,” he said. “It’s going to be quite a thing when it’s over because it’ll be half my life exactly. I think I will miss it, because I’ve had some good times on it.
