I just saw a commercial for the new movie Mamma Mia, that comes out July 16th in the US, and noticed that Julie Walters is in it. Julie plays Mrs. Weasley in the Harry Potter films.  She is playing the character Rosie in the film which is:

‘The story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using hit songs by the popular ’70s group ABBA’.

Amazon now has the Half-Blood Prince video game up for preordering on their website. It will cost $29.99 and says it is going to be released November 30, 2008.

The Daily Star says that J.K. Rowling made a list of the top 50 Best things in Britain. She is #34. 7,000 British people were polled by Holiday Inn. Here are some of the other things on the list:

1 Fish and chips. [yum]
2 The Queen.
3 Old-fashioned pubs.
4 Sunday roast.
5 Red phone boxes.
6 Big Ben.
7 Cream teas.
8 The Beatles.
9 The pound.
10 Royal Family.

Hi everyone,
I’m so sorry that you haven’t heard from me for a while, but as many of you know, I ‘ve been up to my eyes with A level revision – but now the exams are finally over – woohoo!!! Difficult to say how I’ve done and like the rest of the country I won’t fond out for several weeks. But I can hand on my heart say that I’ve barely left my room these past few weeks and totally given it my all and that’s the main thing. And now I’ve got a million things to catch up on, people to see, letters to write and most importantly, a summer to enjoy!
