There is a new interview with Dan Radcliffe online at Empire.
Empire recently spoke to Radcliffe and talked a little about the film [Journey, the story of Dan Eldon], which Radcliffe says is not quite as close to production as reports have suggested.
“There’s a lot of stuff flying around about this at the moment,” he said. “I am absolutely attached to it and it would be amazing to play that part. But people are making assumptions about when it’s going to happen and it won’t happen – if indeed it does happen – for a while yet. But basically…Eldon grew up in Africa and discovered a gift and a passion for photography. Eventually he got too caught up in something that lead to his death”.
To prepare for the role Radcliffe spoke at length with Eldon’s family about his life. “They showed me some of his diaries, which the film will be based on mostly,” he continued. “They’re incredible. There have got to be 20 books and they’re all inches thick, with things sellotaped into them and with wires coming out and everything. He was someone who died very young, but seemed to live as full a life as much as anyone who lived to be a ripe old age. It’ll be incredible to play him”.

There is a new interview with Helena Bonham Carter now online.
Next up for Helena is reprising her role as Bellatrix Lestrange in the next installment of the Harry Potter film series, which starts production in February.
I quite like the anarchic role, and the good thing is, Bellatrix has huge breasts, and I won’t need the chicken cutlets this time. Like lactating on a broomstick.
Anyway, Helen McCrory, who plays my sister, has also got a small baby [son Gulliver is 11 weeks], so we’re going to have a witch’s crèche on-set.

In a new article about Universal Studios we get a quote about the upcoming Harry Potter theme park!
But perhaps the greatest buzz has been building over an attraction based on the “Harry Potter” books and films, which Davis said is expected to open Dec. 1, 2009.
Thanks MN!

The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that Daniel Radcliffe will be playing in an All Star cricket game in California.
To add to the magic, England’s boy wizard Daniel “Harry Potter” Radcliffe will be there too.
Organisers of the highly successful Australia Week G’Day USA festival – designed to promote Australia in the US – added the celebrity cricket match to this year’s already glamour-filled schedule. The response from celebrities and cricket stars from Australia and England was phenomenal.
Organisers have been reluctant to release an official list of players signed up to play, but if the whispers around the close-knit Australian community in LA are correct, it will be an interesting day’s cricket.
Thanks Leaky!
