Thanks so much to SnitchSeeker for letting me know that Alecto Carrow has been cast for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.  I have updated the cast list page for HBP, so you can check it out and see who is playing who in the movie!

Suzanne Toase has been listed to play Death Eater Alecto Carrow, sister of Amycus Carrow (being played by actor Ralph Ineson)

    Just reminding everyone that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will be on ABC tonight at 8pm! (in an hour if you are on the East Coast like me) This is the cable premiere of Goblet of Fire! YAY! Hopefully they play the deleted scenes in the movie like they do for the other movies.

I was just watching Semi-Homemade Cooking and Sandra Lee made Butterbeer! Unfortunatley I didn’t know she was going to make this beforehand so I couldn’t catch it on tape.

Butterbeer

• 1/4 cup sweetened condensed  milk
• 1/4 cup butterscotch topping 
• 2 tablespoons whipped butter, room temperature 
• 1 1/2 cups vanilla cream soda

Combine condensed milk, butterscotch topping, and butter in a glass heatproof measuring cup. Heat in microwave for 1 minute. Remove and stir until butter has melted and incorporated into mixture. Meanwhile heat cream soda in another heatproof measuring cup for 1 minute 30 seconds.

Divide butterscotch mixture between 2 (10 to 12-ounce) mugs. Fill mugs with heated cream soda and stir thoroughly. Serve garnished with an old-fashioned butterscotch candy stick.

    The Becker Group and Warner Bros. Consumer Products announced that they will be having a Harry Potter: The Exhibition.  An exhibition highlighting artifacts from the Harry Potter movies.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition will include elaborate displays of authentic costumes, props and artifacts from popular environments featured in the films such as those from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, including the Gryffindor common room and Hagrid’s hut. During its run, the exhibit will also be updated to include artifacts from the final installments of the Harry Potter film series. The exhibition will be displayed in major cultural and entertainment venues, museums and institutions, and will be supported by a multimedia promotional effort and advance ticket sales worldwide.
